Bradbury was the #1 zone CB last year on QB rating when targeted. Nelson was #2 We would have been fine with either of them. It's great to have this position settled. I'm less worried about safety if this scheme, with this front 7, and these 2 CBs now. Biggest issue is still QB. Just need Strong to take over.

You refuse to acknowledge any contributions that Hurts' running ability makes to the success of the offense because for some reason you don't think that should be part of the equation. And then you accuse others of having biased opinions simply because they don't share your bias. It's very confusing. When that rushing is in addition to NFL passing numbers, it is a contribution. When that rushing does not even get you on par with a legitimate QB's passing it really does not mean much. Hurts, 784 rushing and 10 TD's Allen, 763 rushing and 6 TD's Hurts passing, 3144 yards and 16 TD's Allen passing, 4407 yards and 36 TD's Hurts combined, 3928 yards and 26 TD's. So Hurts combined total offense is 500 yards and 10 TD's short of Josh Allen's passing. We don't even need to consider Allen's 763 rushing yards and 6 TD's for him to be miles ahead of Hurts in total offense.

May 18, 20223 yr Any cap gods out there know how we're looking after all these offseason signings? Or do we not know all the details of the Bradberry contract yet

May 18, 20223 yr Bradberry is a good #2 CB, which makes him a big upgrade. Our biggest weakness is now at S...but that's hard to attack with all the split-safety looks we're going to have.

June 1st they get 16 million for Cox initial contract release. So probably 18.5 this year and 4 million next year after the Bradberry signing.

May 18, 20223 yr Switching up from the usual topics Would you rather have the current roster or Ridley doesn't do dumb parleys and gets traded here and we manage to sign Marcus Williams. Assumptions are Ridley goes for a 2nd so no Jurgens, but we keep #18 and obviously don't get Brown.

So we are weighing Brown, Jurgens and Bradberry vs Calvin Ridley, Marcus Williams, 18th pick ( Trent McDuffie/Kaiir Elam ) and the 101st pick ( Jeremy Ruckert, Channing Tindall, Leo Chanel, Logan Bruss ) I think I would take the second option

I think Ridley is talented and good. i also think he’s overrated in terms of people thinking he’s a no. 1. He had a great 2020 season. But every season surrounding that he’s been good not great. I get julio jones taking up a bunch of targets the first two years. But it also benefitted having julio there as well so he wasn’t seeing the best corner. Plus you have to deal with whatever he had going on last year and decision making going forward considering he’s the only player to get busted for gambling since it’s become legal in most states. I think aj brown is a better wr. He’s also been the no. 1 wr for a couple years now in a run first offense.
