The thing with moving JJAW to safety is if we’re gonna move Reagor to RB that leaves the WR room a little thin of great special teamers.

We did just sign a few guys for the PS. Maybe some of them can stick.

We know JJaw is physical enough. He knows route trees. He knows WR and potentially some TE blocking patterns. He could help diagnose the play, obviously.

So I was just told over in CVON that I am not a real fan because I have never been in a fight in the 700 level of the Vet, and apparently you can only be a real fan if you are a native of Philadelphia, thoughts ??

Don't listen to anything they have to say in CVON it's only there for morons to try and pick fights with each other. I go over there for comedic value purposes only.

First thought?

Serves you right for being in CVON.

JJAW makes a ton of sense at Safety, and I suspect they'll try him out there.  Good special teams player, good enforcer, nice build to him and certainly a smart player.  Has the ball skills to play in the secondary.  I like it.  Not sure how he would be down in the box, but I guess we'll see.

Best idea ever!

I am not a native either but Delaware is hardly a state so it counts.  I was in the 700 level for the Dallas Jimmy Johnson snowball game but didn't throw snowballs.  If the truebelievers find out I am sure I will also be excommunicated.

We have a three-year-old MB C300. I was in the dealership for routine service. They had just sold two 2022 GT Coupes for $100K over ask!

Even the mainstream (non-luxury) models are a pain right now for the buyer.  My Kia Optima is at just over 100K miles so I was looking at trading into their new model, the K5.  I can't even factory order a new one in the trim I want; completely sold out and they aren't taking orders right now.  The used ones on their lots are selling at new MSRP, and any new models they get on their lots are the top trims, which they're selling at $6-7K over MSRP -- even though the manufacturer (Kia/Hyundai) is telling their dealers not to.

And the federal government pushing their zero emission legislation for 2035?  Sounds well and good, but a Kia EV6 electric vehicle is about $70K CAD.  The brand that is supposed to be a value proposition.

Alabama coach Nick Saban singled out Texas A&M for "buying" its top-ranked signing class and threw a spotlight on the unintended effect of name, image and likeness rights on recruiting during an event with local business leaders Wednesday night in Birmingham.

"I mean, we were second in recruiting last year," Saban told the audience. "A&M was first. A&M bought every player on their team -- made a deal for name, image, likeness. We didn't buy one player, all right? But I don't know if we're gonna be able to sustain that in the future because more and more people are doing it. It's tough

Jobe probably has a leg up given his experience with Saban.

Vincent has a leg up, since you know...he was a slot CB and S at LSU.

Hmmm... I've never been in a fight in the 700 level, but was a 700 level season ticket holder from 1996 - 1999.   I witnessed plenty of fights up there, especially in 1998.  More action in the stands than on the field.

In the last 2 games I went to in Charlotte to see the Eagles I have seen 2 fights.  One was some moron Eagles fan who picked a fight with Frank Garcia, https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/G/GarcFr21.htm  Surprisingly, they were fairly evenly matched in terms of size but it did not end well for the Eagles' fan.  At the last game, I saw a Panthers' fan wife up and leave her Eagles' fan husband after the Hurts TD.  That fight was much funnier because they had been giving each other the business the whole game.  And as per classic Philly fan fashion, the husband did not remember that he had to potentially go home with his wife after Hurts scored the TD.

Wish I could.  Fuel prices in Canada are higher than the US, as well as car prices.  Unfortunately I work in an industrial area that isn't even accessible by mass transport even if I wanted to forego driving.  The only way their zero emissions mandate can work will be to make it affordable for everyone.

At least I'll be retired by 2035, so it'll be the younger generation's problem.

Texas A&M HC Jimbo Fisher just fired back at Nick Saban for saying they "bought" recruits.

Fisher calls Saban a "narcissist" and says he won't take his call.

"We built him up to be this czar of football. Go dig into his past."

Haven’t seen much on Graham. Is he on track to play week 1?

Howdy neighbor.  I'm about 40 minutes southeast of you in Mint Hill.  That hot Texas Pete is actually really good and is a staple in my side door of hot sauces.

And any kind of hot sauce with Scotch Bonnet peppers makes the cut as well.

He will be pushing hard for it.  I heard him on NFL Radio last week and he said he badly wants to play in his hometown in front of his family.

Maybe he should take a pay cut if they can't keep up with the market.

Jimbo unloading the whole clip.

Clearly, we should have a meet and greet or meet and fight depending on how things go in the blog this season.

I'll bring the combat waivers!  From what I've heard (and I've never been here), this is the Eagles bar in Charlotte.  Looks like a total sheethole, so I'd probably love it.

Scotch Bonnet is too hot for me.

Is it though?

CHARLOTTE — Steamers Sports Bar, a long-running east Charlotte restaurant, has received backlash for serving members of the Proud Boys, an extremist group.

Texas A&M will never come close to having the success Saban and Bama have had and probably will have in the future.  Jimbo is a damn good coach though.

Someone ask me this yesterday and wanted to see what everyone would choose. You have your choice for the Eagles with one of these 3:

1. They no longer suffer any injuries. At all.

2. They never draft a bust ever again - this doesn't mean they'll all be stars, they just won't suck. So no guarantee you'll get all pro bowl guys with the picks either. You just guarantee they never are busts. For example, Seumalo isn't a bust, but he's also not some elite OL.

3. Just once per year you can swap your best player at one position for the best player at that same position from another team.

I didn't know it was a bars responsibility to check out the back ground of it's customers. Any bar I've ever been in they just ask what I would like to drink. Not that I'm for the "proud boys" or any other weirdo political group.
