I'm sorry I brough such a depressing topic into the blog.  A little back story without too much detail. I met my friend 12 years ago during an AF commissioning program. He was on top of the world

I've come to the conclusion that Carson Strong is the new Joe Ostman. My expectation is that he'll have a similar level of success in the NFL.

Hes the new David Akers

So Carson Strong will troll Cowboy fans at the draft in 12 years or so?

Works for me.

For the QB gurus here to analyze. How’s this motion?

Looks really good. Super nit picky kind of thing. His base is a little wide and makes it hard to follow through and binds up his motion. Needs to stand up taller and keep his feet under him more. There's a transition he has to make in understanding the process. You are not muscling the ball but finessing it. The harder you dig in and try to rip the ball the worse it gets. When he gets it right, it will look like he hardly threw the ball but it'll launch off his hand.

Cant tell squat on his throwing with no pads…

Seumalo gets traded before the season yes or no?  Can he fetch us a starting caliber Safety yes or no?  Who are some Safeties you think would be trade candidates?  Ashtyn Davis, Andre Cisco?  Chuck Clark?

What did he say he's not planning to try to improve this offseason? I can't recall what it was

Tweak his throwing motion j believe

He’s reading a book, climbing mountains, and stacking chips on chips on chips ….. but he’s done nothing to improve his throwing mechanics …. In his words

I’m not sure why folks in here think there are players the Eagles should be dumping, but are magically worth Day 2 draft picks to other teams via trades.

Play out the season with Sanders, Hargrave, Seumalo, etc., then let them go as UFAs after the season.  If they get decent contracts with other teams then they’ll all help the comp pick calculation.

Almost zero chance, but holy S I'd lose it if they got Cisco. Loved that guy coming out of the draft last year.

In the sense that he’s going to lock down a starting spot for 13 years?  You may be a little off here

yea, he was my safety target last year.  Amazing that they have failed to add a young safety over the last few drafts.

See...that's the problem with Hurts. Thinking quickly is fundamental and he can't do it. He isn't decisive, can't read the defense, and sucks at progress through targets. But he looks like the man in shorts with a red jersey on with nobody trying to tackle him.

Derek Barnett looks like a little puny placekicker next to Jordan Davis.

And it'll go ten, maybe even fifteen yards!

It's why Hurts is perfect for this team and the perfect leader to lead any team.  No one has bender fundamentals.

I had some great bender fundamentals when I was in college. I could rage for like 3 days no sleep.

Right, why hold the media to factual accuracy? That position seems to be bolstering the strength of our nation on a daily basis. Good call.

Approachable and friendly barely cracks the top 5 as far as being an effective leader.  Unless you’re managing a bunch of teenager girls.

Approachable, yes. You're people should never be afraid to approach you with concerns, suggestions, insight, etc. that might let you make better informed decisions. It also makes you accessible in case a subordinate has a personal issue to discuss. You should always at least be available to at least hear folks' problems. Of course, there has to be a balance.

Friendly? There I agree with you. A good leader has to be personable and at least to a degree relatable to his/her subordinates. Being too friendly either gives folks the impression you're a pushover, or gets you in trouble via fraternization. Again, it's always been a delicate balance, throughout my career as a leader at least.
