I'm sure that there will be a great defense of this so called 'right', in the name of 'women's health care', etc.  And I will not engage.  I've said my piece and no one here will change their stance.   Enjoy your hypocrisy of mourning one death while celebrating thousands of others.  This is all I have to say on the subject.

I appreciate that your view is sincere. I would respect it more if this desire to protect children extended into their post-natal lives.

I'm sorry I brough such a depressing topic into the blog.  A little back story without too much detail. I met my friend 12 years ago during an AF commissioning program. He was on top of the world

Oh look both sides making up data to support their agenda. It’s ok the people running our communities, states, and country do the same.

Where have I not expressed that desire?  I work in a school, I face this issue literally every day I go to work.  As does my wife.  I have been part of the process of dealing with troubled teens in the school.   I have intervened in fights between students involving weapons and making sure that all the students were safe.

I beat myself up pretty hard just a week and a half ago, because one of my students suffered a grand mal seizure and I didn't act fast enough to get to her to catch her before her head hit the floor and she suffered a concussion.  I was the one present as she went through the seizure, ensuring her safety so that she didn't suffer any further injury.

But, believe what you will about me.

That is not completely true at all. A private person to person sale in some states requires no background check and that is only on used firearms. If you buy online and the firearm needs to be shipped it has to be sent to an FFL and a background check has to be done. If you are at a gun show and buy from a dealer a background check has to be done. If you are at a gun show and buy from a private citizen in some states no check is needed the same if you buy online, you meet the person and you're from the same state no check is needed. All of which do not matter since this person bought from an FFL which did a background check.

What about constructing weapons from parts, i.e. "ghost guns"?

Bottom line is people can spew crap and kvetch on here in a football forum but we aren't giving them up.

Because you do not care about anyone but yourself.  Gun guy hides behind the second amendment, we need to protect ourselves from a tyrannical government, but really, you only care about your personal ability to have fun with guns.

I personally am not against guns, but there should be limits on what the average citizen should be able to own.  You should also be required to be licensed and go though a back ground check 100% of the times, and buyers or sellers who violate this should loose their ability to sell or own guns.  You have to have a license to do tons of stuff.  Drive a car, perform your job, even catch a fish.

I should have qualified my statement. You as an individual may and evidently do care for children once born. However, too many of the same people who are anti-abortion are also anti -children after birth. This from George Carlin pretty much sums it up: George Carlin On 'Pro-Life' Conservatives - Bing

At the end of the day no one in here is changing anyone else's mind in here. So we should probably move on. Along with religion and politics this should probably stay out of the blog.

Andy Reid endorses Jalen Hurts as Eagles QB1: 'He's willing to work hard and wants to be great'

I'm willing to work hard and want to be great. Can I be QB1?

I don't know...can you scramble to the right?

I can run around and not throw the ball with much accuracy. But sometimes I like to run left.

No, because I am also willing to work hard and be great, and for a 48 year old white guy, I sure do have some SWAG.

You're not going to find any head coach actively employed in the NFL who will say anything negative to assess an active player.  No one answers an interview question with "Yeah, that guy stinks.  They need to move on from him, fast"

I really like that the national media is pumping the Eagles' tires leading up to the season.  I'm hearing lots of pundits saying the Eagles will win the division, Eagles are a top 10 team, etc.  I still believe the starting QB pool in the NFL is a meritocracy.  Perform, or lose your job.

Hurts is going to have to live up to the hype that people are putting on the team.  If he's able to, that's great for every Eagles fan.  If he can't, then it will expedite the change that needs to happen.

Brown is 10, Smith is 31.

PFF is dumb but it's nice to finally have good WRs

Listen if you have to say you have SWAG, you don't have SWAG. Sorry buddy.

QB2 at best

So Weidl leaving for basically the same position, maybe Howie and company burned him out...

You are entitled to your feelings. Doesn't make them right and it won't change mine.

Sorry, did not have time to make a video and get it out in Twittergramchat.

It's funny because the Huggers are banging their chests without realizing this very thing.

And I am sure Andy Reid has given glowing reviews to many QB's, including Kevin Kolb, Mike Kafka, AJ Feely, Andy Hall,

To be fair, collectively they all put together like a solid 6 starts in their career. 😂

I‘m a big believer in Hurts but still completely agree. His mental toughness was advertised time and again so that shouldn‘t be a problem either.

Based on the easy early schedule, by what week will Hurts have put together 6 quality starts in his career ??
