Howie’s a snake and this report isn’t surprising. Didn’t Howie make similar statements to Lane that may have led to his re-injury in 2018? Also think Lane reportedly made a similar statement that he couldn’t work with Howie.

Howie pushed Lane to play in London.  It sounded more like he was whining and begging not yelling at Lane.  I can't imagine trainers having to fight off Howie.  He's what 170lbs soaking wet?

I'm sorry I brough such a depressing topic into the blog.  A little back story without too much detail. I met my friend 12 years ago during an AF commissioning program. He was on top of the world

And then add to the whole "1 million $ fine per leak", please. Wentz already got the bag for one, and two if he would have come out publicly with this story and said the Eagles threatened to fine him if he said anything...Howie is gone. End of story. In this day and age theres no chance Howie would have been able to keep his job. Look what happened to Urban Meyer. If he came out and said "Howie assaulted me and yelled at me and my wife and threatened me about keeping my job if I didnt return to the field after I failed concussion protocol"...bye howie.

I was traveling all day yesterday so pretty hard to be on it non stop and won’t much these next couple of days because of traveling.  So I’ll make sure I check in though, just for you.    My employer knows my value.  And doesn’t really give a ish what I do when I do it.  Do you really want this smoke?

So my turn:   Does your family know that you’re a drunk? You’ve embarrassed yourself numerous times in this thread.  And now messaging at 3:30 in the morning?    What kind of loser does that?   Is your home life that bad?  I know I’ve offended you in the past because you have some pretty dumb takes.  And coming at me fulfills some sort of Beta fantasy you have.  But this is an online community that has dozens of posters posting all the time and some who hide in the bushes.   But what we rarely have is someone who gets drunk, makes a fool of himself and then comes back the following day and apologizes for being a moron.  Over and over again.  You’re unique.   Congrats.

Wrong.  Try again.

I wouldn’t be surprised if it were true and I wouldn’t be surprised if it were total bs.  #insight

Right the situations are not exactly similar but not crazy to imagine the step from one to another IMO. His conversation with Lane is already insane in my books. He’s a nut.

I’ve been saying for years, they need to focus on helmet technology to keep players safe so they don’t have to change the rules on where you can hit someone.

I’m sick of seeing BS targeting penalties called when it’s clear the defender did everything they could to hit low but the ball carrier starts falling and takes a glancing hit to the head.

I don’t think I’ll ever forget Trent Cole getting called for contact to the head against Payton Manning when it was literally Coles pinky and ring finger grazing the back of Mannings helmet. I had an epic meltdown when that happened.

I think blows to the head need to be discouraged and can't imagine that the game is going to see a technology that makes it safe.  Penalties are always going to be problematic no matter what the call is.  I would like to see better technology to make it safer and cut down on long term problems like CTE.

Im not saying this story is true, but again, I've seen "smaller dweebs" with power needed to be pulled off a bigger dude.

My dad worked at Echelon Ford for years and I cant tell you how many times I saw the owner, small rich white dude yell, scream, kick, and point his finger in the face of much larger larger mechanics.

Because they needed the job and he was the owner.

I can imagine Howie being upset about Wentz not playing. He traded the guy that won four playoff games and a super bowl and kept the guy that couldn't stay healthy and got bounced in his first playoff game. Wentz self reporting the concussion and pulling himself from the game could have sent him over the edge. We all know Howie has a huge ego.

I'm not sure Wentz was in a shape to argue back as he was heaving and dizzy. If this is even close to true which I'm very skeptical.

(Interestingly, some religious contexts, including Greek, Roman, some Native American and Semitic, all contain a great flood, that is documented in the geologic records when the ice dam broke at the end of the last ice age in North America, so sometimes they overlap.)

The "Great Flood" is generally believed to be the collapse of the barrier between the Mediterranean and the Black Sea, survivors would have seen a wall of water a 100 feet high.

However, there are questions whether it was that dramatic of an event

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_Sea_deluge_hypothesis

Given the limits of local knowledge, most areas around the world are probably subject to "thousand year floods" within oral memory, so they would all have some memory of a "great flood." Obviously, no such Bibical flood actually occurred, since the geological evidence simply doesn't exist (sediments covering most of the earth from recent origin).

Yeah, that makes no sense. If it was true, Wentz would have demanded a trade immediately after that season, instead of sucking for a whole year, plummeting his value.

Eagles need to buy an XtraSuper model for our QB1.

He just needs an electronic overlay inside his visor that tells him which receivers are open and by how much. Like Quez is open deep and then a countdown window before the safety will close on the throw. Put in a proximity warning as well so he can focus downfield instead of getting happy feet.

It could have warnings that certain defenders are sitting on routes baiting throws. Like highlight Davonte in green to show he's open but have red hashes across his intended route showing when defenders are within proximity to make a play on the ball and green hashes to show his throwing lanes along the route.

I'm not a Howie fan but that's all pretty dumb.  And BTW Wentz has sucked for the 2 years sense. One of them not even with the Eagles

This dude.

Only because Howie beat him so severely it made Wentz mentally handicapped.

The story claims he "had to be pulled off" of Wentz. He'd need a step ladder.

I would bet that he went down to the locker room and pressured Wentz to play.  I would bet Wentz's wife cried.  I don't think Howie had to be pulled off by training staff.  There would also be no fine for Wentz "leaking" the story.  The team has absolutely no leverage to keep a player from being an anonymous source for a reporter.
