Who do you think will be the better QB in 3 years, irrespective of their team surrounding them: Justin Fields or Hurts

I'm sorry I brough such a depressing topic into the blog.  A little back story without too much detail. I met my friend 12 years ago during an AF commissioning program. He was on top of the world

AR the best I’ve seen but think Herbert will surpass him to the top if he stays relatively healthy

4 Quadrants.  1 and 2 on the top; 3 and 4 on the bottom.  To get a contract extension as a starting QB you've got to be in the top 2 quadrants.

Hurts at present is much closer to Quadrant 4 than he is to Quadrant 2.

I was being sarcastic.

I was just stating facts.  Tom Brady won his first 10 playoff games before losing a game. Aaron Rodgers lost his first playoff game.

I thought Fields was a better rated recruit out of high school.  The concern with Haskins was the lack of starts.

That was his first rookie season so it doesn't count.

I can’t believe he didn’t win rookie of the year and mvp in 2018

You keep repeating this like it matters.  It didn't matter the first time you said it.  It matters even less now.

Nor does Hurts performance in his first PO game against a top defense.

We knew the Eagles weren't PO ready last season, nor should we have expected them to be, pre-season most expectations were for 6-7 wins.

Howie said they were rebuilding, and he said this off-season that they're still rebuilding.

So what matters this season is to improve. And we'll find out only after the season if they achieve that goal.

I mean Lawrence absolutely sucked last year (so did Wilson), so you wouldn't pick them up if they were cut?

They were rookies. And, drafted 1 and 2 overall, their leash is far longer and they have a far higher pedigree. They also would have an extra year of control for their contracts. So of course you’d pick them up instead

Who's the next high profile QB that ends up moving on to another team? Besides Kyler Murray.

Justin Herbert. I’m going to DM him with several burners to gaslight him into thinking he deserves better.

I know a Dolphins fan that called the Dolphins office after the Eagles pummeled them to work out a trade. He got pretty far before they caught on...like a few levels up. On top of it all, he was drunk as hell.

This is why he’s violent.

I still think there’s a chance rodgers next offseason makes a stink again and wants out. Especially if the packers regress once again. If not rodgers I could see Lamar if he doesn’t get the contract he expects. He’s on his 5th year option so he’s likely franchised next year if they don’t come together on an extension.

No, it does matter.  It shows how far he has to go.

The QB needs to improve.   BTW... Lawrence and Wilson sucked in a DIFFERENT way than Hurts. Both have a much much better arm than Hurts and don't have to rely on their legs to do everything for them.   That said, I didn't like either of them either... same as I didn't want Hurts.

I have no idea if I do or don’t believe that Wentz story…I lean towards bs.

But does anyone think this is some coincidence that a thing of Howie bowling with the players gets tweeted after that story broke?

If everyone knew the eagles weren’t playoff ready, then why is the most persistent argument for Hurts (that he took them to the playoffs in year 2) even remotely valid?
