Ramdon thought.  Does anyone have a vintage Reggie white jersey? I was thinking about getting one.  Seriously no debate hands down best Defensive lineman ever.

I do....it was sent to me by a mistake, it's like a 3x.  No need for it.

Heres all im saying.....

Handing it over to your son in the NFL, or Fortune 500 world isnt anything new.

Giving your kid a cushy job to learn on the job isnt something new

Being a son, or daughter of an owner(of any company small or big) your "working there" in one aspect or another since you can walk and talk.

To have this much debate is actually laughable

Not surprised, it's just a high level job.

 I own my own business...certainly not at the Eagles level, but I do about $3-4M a year in gross revenue. My son is only 11, but if he's remotely interested he'll be brought on when he's done college, and will eventually run most of the day to day until I retire and he fully takes over. You just sound bitter because your parents didn't provide you the opportunity...most aren't able to. Lurie is.

 Why would he even want to go work for another organization? This argument is ridiculous.

So you're fine if he was some dope party boy who loafed around and was just handed the keys to the kingdom without attaining any experience within said organization...but you're NOT ok with him going to college, working his way up the ranks, and being given a management position? Holy ish dude, you're Fing obtuse.

No, give me your company, I'm more qualified

You got a free one? Just cinch it

So if the Eagles suck from here on out, we got a new target to place blame on......Julian Lurie.

Howie voted yes on the promotion

Calm down Elon

The truth of the matter is Lurie married well.  Bought the Eagles with his wife's family's money (Smith of GC Cinema) and then later divorced her as it turned out.  No doubt his son will one day take over the Eagles to shepherd the asset.  That's what families do.

HEY GUYS I"M MAD AS HELL A BILLIONAIRE DOES WHATEVER THE F HE WANTS WITH HIS OWN COMPANY!!!!!!! :furious:

I think someone applied for the job and got turned down

Im not talking about ownership, that just takes an arseload of money.

He can hand it to his son, whatever.

Just dont give me a bunch of BS about how qualified he is and how deserving he is when we all know what's going on here.

Besides you

Turns out the players can hear our drunken screaming.

"I've seen many - especially if you play in Philly, oh my God - I've seen too many corners in Philly just get destroyed.

"HART: Oh my God.

"JENKINS: I'm on the field, in the red zone, we're playing for our lives on the field, backs against the wall and I hear the crowd talking about one of my teammates: '[Noise] sucks, [noise] sucks', I'm like 'Yo, what?'

"HART: We're at home!

"JENKINS: We're at home!"

Not my problem, nor do I care to be honest

But we know he interned there (while going to some trash school Harvard) and it's been mentioned he was a ball boy and a locker room kid growing up.

Jullian at 27 has spend more time in NFL Locker rooms/training facilities than the Coach

Lol you literally are making the point that hes qualified because hes been around the team for so long, Im merely asking what the hell hes been doing.  But you cant answer?

Towel boys and security guards spend tons of time at the facility.  Youre ignoring my main point that this is obvious nepotism and that alone causes problems.

He probably didnt even interview for the position.

Just stop the charade about qualifications and say the truth, thats probably what rubs me the wrong way.  Jeff Luries BS quotes about how "exposed to the business" hes been.  Man shut the hell up, if youre not signing checks or making decisions youre just like a secretary without any real duties.

He may not be qualified to walk and chew gum but he's still getting the job and that's Lurie's decision not mine to make.

Calcaterra’s backstory is a unique one. He stepped away from football after the 2019 season because of multiple concussions. After he left Oklahoma, he worked construction and began to pursue a career as a firefighter

I made a comment and people are coming out of the woodwork to defend our little billionaire owner.

But sure Im mad.

Ive made my point pretty clear I think.  I look forward to all the great work this highly qualified individual will produce.

We aren't defending the owner, we are calling you a moron for apparently waking up today with no clue about how the world works.

He's gonna have WAYYYYY more football experience than his dad did, who is the best owner in eagles history.

I mean, you're not wrong.

If it makes anyone feel any better, Julian will have to pay 40% estate tax when he inherits the Eagles. Probably around 2 billion.

Not to mention the Pennsylvania inheritance tax on top of that.
