He is obviously trolling.  Dean will not be put in a position to win DROY.  That is why I am confident enough to have a board bet on it.

In regards to Hurts, he doesn’t believe that, because the people he references that will be proven wrong he has on ignore.  If you believe something that strongly, wouldn’t you want to be able to run your mouth to the "haters”

TBH I haven’t heard many media guys predicting Hurts to take a huge leap this season.  Most of what I’ve heard is the organization has put him in a position to make a leap, but it remains to be seen whether he’ll be able to capitalize on it and keep the job.

Guys like Reub are blatantly pro-Hurts but from what I’ve seen and read this offseason it’s more the casual fringe fans who assume Hurts will excel.  As I’ve said before, I like that the national media is bullish in their predictions.  Higher expectations separates the guys who can be contributors from those who can’t

A lot of local fan boys have made the assertion he will make a huge leap. Reub has been hedging his bets recently and has been more "I think Hurts is closer to his ceiling than others”.

Hurts is set up rather nicely this year to succeed, same coaches, solid O-line ,weapons all over the field, if he doesn't get it done this year, save a litany of injuries it's all on him.
