I read that as it could go either way. It may not return or it may. I don't read it as it WILL come back and will be a chronic condition. I'm certainly not Howie's biggest fan but he does seem to have a very good feel for what other teams are likely to do on draft night. Why spend a draft pick on somebody that no other team seems interested in. Once in a while he gets it wrong but not often of late.

Perhaps... but falling out of the draft might smack some (if not all) of the arrogance out of him.  Or it might put a giant chip on his shoulder and we get to hear about it after he's won 10 Super Bowls... just as we have to hear about all the QBs drafted before Brady every year.

You have to think the league office is pouring over that contract the Browns gave Deshaun Watson to try to find a loophole towards voiding it.  A fully guaranteed contract is what got him to sign in CLE, but you’d hope those dolts would have/should have written something in there to deal with the contingency of Watson’s not disclosing the full scope of his dirt-baggery.
