I'm sorry I brough such a depressing topic into the blog.  A little back story without too much detail. I met my friend 12 years ago during an AF commissioning program. He was on top of the world

Bro, you can't cover Jalen's target when he is throwing those dimes. You could have caught it

I admit Hurts' release is slow enough that I can probably run 40 yards downfield to catch the ball in stride.

JFC Bradberry must suck.

I'd love to know Hurts' time to throw on these plays. Seems like you give Watkins 4 seconds on a big CB, he wins that the vast majority of the time.

Had to make room for the Eagles new power couple.

Jalen Hurts was with A.J. Brown when he got the call and was drafted in 2019 : r/eagles

I definitely think wedding bells are in the air.

He will have plenty of good safety help...👀

I would not be surprised.

Well he got "sacked" on one so I'm guessing a lot.

Jalen: Hey man, sorry about that over throw.
AJ: Don’t bother me. I’m calling my agent to request a trade.

Jalen: We still on for dinner ??

AJ: Sure honey, see you tonight.

1:17:50. Pretty accurate ball placement for being damn near 70 yards downfield

Not only got there, but took zero time getting there

Nick has said "fundamentals" about 500 times so far in 3 minutes.

What good year 3 QB's are still working on laying groundwork?

Keep in mind last offseason all we heard was how Reagor was catching everything, with vids of him doing one handed catches in the end zone.

So Hurts is this years Reagor, I will believe it when I see it on the field against real competition in September, October, November.

lol so soft

Can you be in the running for nasty Nate award in year 3 or 3rd rookie season?

I actually stated Hurts was the leading runner for the Nasty Nate award this year a few days ago. So yes.

Did the video play at the exact spot for you? I was trying to share it at exactly 1:17:50 but it wasnt working on my end. Anyway, this is one of my favorite throws from Strong at 48:50. Nothing flashy but the quick release & velocity stands out to me. Nice little pump fake, good base, upper/lower body in sync, going through his progressions and delivers an effortless 25 yard strike. Very next throw is another dart.

I don't doubt Hurts has been working on his game, as every player should, and is looking better in the spring. What I would love to see is if he's able to consistently do this. Last year I did see some slight improvement in his game. However, when they played a team that would shut down the run and blitz, it seemed Hurts reverted back to his "natural" playing style of turning his back to the defense, panicking and bailing out of clean pockets, not going through progressions, and very inconsistent with his accuracy.

I still want him to use his running ability, but he needs to stay in the pocket with his eyes down the field, go through progressions, and do that consistently.

I'm also fine with them going light during the spring, but I don't think they should be doing the same thing as last year with training camp and holding players out of the pre-season games.

Anybody in the blog watching The Boys? Anyway we could the Termite to uhhhh....take care of Hurts?
