I think we all should be a little cautious about the love affair between Hurts and AJ Brown.  There is a reason why you never hear of a "pro" QB being best friends with one of his teammates, especially the #1 WR.  This could blow up.  QB's are supposed to be impartial leaders on the field and at times will need to be able to call someone out.  Sometimes being a leader is not being "one of the guys" all of the time and it isn't about photo ops and cool buddy buddy moments or jerking each other off on Twitter.   We saw how lovie T.O. and McNabb were early on, and that blew up.  What happens when ish goes bad, Hurts plays like Hurts and AJ Brown gets frustrated?  What happens when Hurts plays like Hurts and Devonte Smith gets frustrated because he isn't getting the targets, as Hurts plays favorites?  What happens if Hurts plays like Hurts and the Eagles have to move on from him.  Where is AJ Brown's head at? It's not the most professional dynamic and one that could lead to drama down the road. Buyer beware is all I'm saying.

My interest in the NHL completely disappeared after that 2011-12 season. You're not wrong. However, comparing this situation to the McNabb / TO situation isn't really fair. TO was an insecure psychopath and McNabb didn't have a strong enough of a character to handle someone like TO. McNabb was right in telling him to STFU in the huddle after TO told him he was open.

I personally believe that Hurts will solidify the job for the foreseeable future this upcoming season but if he doesn't then Lamar makes a ton of sense for the Eagles.  Top 10 QB, a proven winner, former MVP and he will be turning just 26 next year.  He would also be walking into easily the most talented supporting cast on offense that he has had in his career. 

Hurts, Lamar or any other running QB makes no sense for the Eagles or any other NFL team long term.   Because once you get in the playoffs, the better teams are successfully able to game plan for running QBs.

Ish can go south even if they aren't best friends. If the team is winning, Brown shouldn't complain about the lack of targets. Lack of arm talent/vision aside, Hurts seems like the type of guy who would call out Brown if he's out of line. That's what real friends do, they give you the truth even though you don't want to hear it.

That's hella cool man. Music and a little booze goes a long way. My fiance came over one day for guitar lessons and a few beers....four years later we just had our daughter and getting married next November

Summer League was only good back when the Sixers were in the process era.  Just doesn't have the same intrigue anymore without a top pick to get a look at.
