Been thinking about the impact of Brown. With all the complaints about Hurts, overlooked is that Smith broke the team record for yards by a WR last year.  While I doubt Hurts improves greatly in progression reads, I expect he does better than last year.  Full year of play can mean the game slows down for him.  I don’t think he had reliable receivers other than Smith and Goedert last year.  Brown gives him that other WR. If Quez continues to develop as he was last year, he could be a viable 3.  I expect a game plan somewhere between the latter part of the season and the beginning.

He had 916 yards in his rookie season against #1 corners and Hurts throwing the ball. It was impressive.

Nope, I looked it up, seems it was Desean... 1156 yards.   Of course, none of that matters to the joke... for Smith's 'basically a rookie season'.

I get that.  Was just curious.  Would be nice to see Smith break the 2nd year record.  1200 would be real nice opposite AJ Brown.

the only thing impressive is he was able to pull it off without getting hurt and with such an inadequate distributer of the football
