I'm sorry I brough such a depressing topic into the blog.  A little back story without too much detail. I met my friend 12 years ago during an AF commissioning program. He was on top of the world

What are Dak Prescott problems?

Crazy amount of pay that handicaps his teams ability to retain talent or acquire new via free agency. Also, Dak seems to be a product of his environment more than a stand alone product. Without top notch talent around him, he struggled so they went and got Cooper and grabbed Lamb in the draft. Add a top notch running game for years and it was easy to get the big money. I fully expect him to come back down to earth this year and fall into the mid teens in ranking

He isn't really getting a crazy amount of pay with how the QB market continued to jump.  Cowboys could have and should have got him on an even cheaper contract at around $30M but they kept dicking around pushing it off and only drove the price up for themselves.

Dak is legitimately good QB.  As it currently stands he's the 4th best QB in the conference.  The problem with Dallas hasn't been Dak, it's been Jerry's poor choice in HCs.

I agree that Dak is a good qb. I actually have been a fan of him overall...but he has definitely benefited from a loaded roster and I feel it inflated both his paycheck and his numbers beyond his ability. Being the tenth or eleventh best QB isn't an insult right now....the top is just full of monsters

Dak Prescott problems would be a good thing with Hurts, all things considered.

It seems like no one is talking about the new jurassic world movie.  Not a thread for it In FYE

Anyone see it?

I feel it might be the best of the jurassic world trilogy.

I heard there aren't even any dinosaurs in it.

Dak is a top tier 2 QB lol definitely would like that problem with a low tier 3 starter aka, replaceable

That's true. No real ones anyway.

Todd pinkston clone. Will beat you on the deep ball, but flinches at the point of contact

Yeah except pinkston actually had a couple years of production

Pinkston had one alligator arm non catch and fans act like it was every game.

He wasn't an all pro but he filled his role in that offense as the Z deep threat.

Hightower can't even get on the field minus a few horrendous games as a rookie.

He's got some competition this year with other guys who can stretch the field I don't think he makes the team, we'll see though, maybe he's toughened up🤷‍♂️

I saw it opening day with my kids.

It's ok, the story and plot are a little half baked and it seems they rely way too much on nostalgia but it was ok.

Not a lot of suspense just a lot of people running away from dinosaurs that are also running.

Kids loved it of course.

My favorite part of the 04 season was the first play of every game or it felt like was a deep ball to pinkston to keep the safeties back for the rest of the game. He was a legit field stretcher. I give him some ish , but as a west coast cog....he did his job

I really didn’t like OG Jurassic Park 3, and I’m trying to decide if that or this is the worst in the series.

Probably Chris T. Jones' 2nd season.  993 yards.

Nope, I looked it up, seems it was Desean... 1156 yards.   Of course, none of that matters to the joke... for Smith's 'basically a rookie season'.

You're forgetting Mike Quick. He led the league with 1409 yards in '83 after being a first round pick in '82.

With the exception of Owens in 2004, Quick was the best receiver the Eagles have had since I've been a fan.

WTF?  Minus missed FG’s plus 4th down conversions?

My manic gambling state of mind gets a little bored with A vs. B.

Until he cramped up in the Super Bowl and wasnt available.

According to the latest ITB, Reagor has a good off-season so far - taking it very seriously.

And they forgot about Nate Iloa winning the original off-season hype award....

Loved Quick but Harold Carmichael was a game changer. Of course, the opposite of JJAW, they started him as a TE.  His WR break out year was a wonder.  He was unstoppable in an era where three yards and a cloud of dust ruled.

The award for this year belongs to that Devon Allen character

I think that was their point, but I wasn't paying too much attention at that point!

It’s basically the same as all of them. It was nothing special at all.
