That Murray contract is wild. He's simply not good enough to pay that amount of money to and not hobble your franchise.

That kyler murray contract is utterly insane. Are the NFL going to cut the season off after week 11/12 next season ? No of course they won’t so watch Kyler and the cardinals dive bomb for the last month and a bit of the season and Kyler crap the bed in the playoffs.

And then there’s the serious maturity issues which when you are a starting NFL QB you need a thick skin and Kyler Murray has employed the blame everyone else but me playbook too often.

Murray is a much better passer than Hurts.

Kliff Kingsbury did all right as an OC at UH and A&M but he really wasn’t original. Basically ran Holgorsen’s version of Mike Leach’s offense.  

Neither Kliff Kingsburry or Kyler Murray are doing what they do best, yet the are getting paid like they are.

Kliff needs to go back to college, create some gimmick offense and coach a top 25 team for the next 3 decades.

Murray should be in the MLB.

Can’t recall if Howie carried 90 when he could last year.  Just seems the timing of cutting James before camp would suggest a signing would be imminent.

Saw some reporters say they wanted to give James to catch on somewhere else before TC started, but not sure if that was reporting or theorizing. He since signed with the Jets.

Barnett- like BG, 99.9% he's not here next year.

Jackson- DE4 by default, shouldn't be more than that anyway.

Leo- Is he an Eagle until he doesn't want to play football anymore?  Either way, he has no future as an actual gameday NFL player. Honestly why is he even on this team?  6-7, 280 pound DE are not what this team uses.  Has he ever even made a preseason tackle?

I am hopeful, albeit doubtful, that Milton Williams can be used creatively and help out at DE.

But for 2023 draft…if they aren’t all in on a qb, it’s basically a 100% guarantee they get a DE in round 1.

And while he is infinitely more talented than Hurts, hes not that much better (anymore). Something happened to him.

I'm anti Williams at DE.  I think he needs to be used inside as much as possible to take advantage of his quickness.  I think at DE he loses his advantages.

He's not dead weight.  For a backup DE you can do a lot worse.  As you said BG will likely be gone next year so it makes sense to hold onto Barnett unless he's just awful.  Only 26, will be 27 in 2023.  That's a low risk high reward 2 year deal.

Even if they hang on to Barnett, you have Sweat, Barnett and Jackson.  They need serious help at DE.

This is an insane take. Wentz burned a ton of bridges in Philly, then couldn't last the year in Indy. Everyone in Indy buried him on the way out. He choked away the playoffs against Jacksonville.

Adam Caplan is slowly losing as his sources go away.
