I like that Alec Pierce kid. Got some smarts to his game. Quick as a hiccup. Lacks long speed. Coach on the field. Got a little Wes Welker in him. Coach's kid, first one in last one out type of guy.

Is there a top young QB with a worse WR group than Lamar? He has a great TE but beyond that not a lot.  He had Hollywood Brown but even then I'd be surprised if there aren't at least 20 WRs in the league that I would take over him. 

 

Lamar is an effective player. One of the few guys with that style I could see winning a championship. The problem for me is shelf life. I don't wanna pay $50 million per year for only 8-12 games of Lamar at 75% when he's in his late 20s/early 30s.

He does not lack long speed at all.

You are asking the wrong question.  Is there a top middle-aged RB with a better WR group than Lamar?
