I’ve said for a couple years they really need to let Marcus hayes and ESP do a podcast called the dumpster fire hot take podcast. So we can see  who listens to it and eliminates the part of the fan base

I'm sorry I brough such a depressing topic into the blog.  A little back story without too much detail. I met my friend 12 years ago during an AF commissioning program. He was on top of the world

Instead of that just add certain bloggers because it's definitely the reporters as well

True enough.

I guess that explains his TC absence

If anyone wants to get me a Lotto ticket, my numbers are 4, 8, 15, 16, 23 and 42. Ta

One thing I've never understood with QBs throwing at camp, is why they are able to make so many throws without anyone/anything blocking their line of sight to the WR, etc. Clearly, they need to get reps with the pass catchers, but if it's too easy, it defeats the whole object when games come in and you don't see the pass catcher perfectly.

Inquirer is completely behind a paywall now?  Any kind soul want to throw their coverage up in 411?  Curious about the article about Calcaterra "shining".  It's McLane but ill give it a read if i can

I just checked the Inquirer sports section. No paywall that I saw. They may limit the number of articles read/time period or something but I was able to read 4 articles. Or is there another part of the inquirer.com web site that I don't know about?

I'm curious on what folks think Nakobe Dean's impact will be for the 2022 season.  There is some question as to his overall health with his pec injury, but assuming he's healthy and ready to go Week 1, what is the estimate on his snaps in the Eagles defense?  For reference, the 2021 snap counts at LB were:

Singleton -- 64%

Edwards -- 61%

Avery -- 32%

Eric Wilson -- 25%

Taylor -- 22%

This season there is Edwards, White, Taylor, Dean, Reddick (in the Avery role +).  I'm wondering if Edwards and Kyzir White start Week 1 in base packages and Dean plays some sub packages early, or does he claim a starting LB job sooner?  If he's healthy, does he play more than 60% of the defensive snaps -- and how soon?

There are certain things that are "premium content" like the practice notes that you have to pay for.

Gotta include the fear factor as well. Nobody's trying to take their head off in practice. Still, it's the best facsimile they can manage without an unlimited supply of QBs.

Lol I remember him using those signs to call plays. Did well the first season but then IIRC the league didn't allow them anymore

So how did Cam do at center with the starters?

Anyone in here know? Thought I'd get an answer in the training camp thread

Ah, that's not unusual. Sort of a Freemium model I guess. I looked at the paper in the grocery store yesterday, first time in a long time. They gotta do something to keep the lights on, they ain't doin' it selling ads. I think the free paper was thicker.

Nothing in The Athletic practice review

Without pads and contact there would be precious little the reporters could see or hear. The one nugget - or absence of same - was bad snaps. None were reported.

Is that a good thing or bad? Really thought we would have heard about anything

Agree.  Using Hurts as an example, you want him to speed up and clean up his footwork in practice but not get marmalised by a player; a balance has to be found where it's not too easy for him to keep bad habits.

I've read almost every training camp note and no one mentioned him at all. Which is a good thing considering the circumstances. Doubt there's much to take away from it all anyway.

I forgot he was on the team to be honest.

Would that happen if he ate too much Marmite?

I know it won’t happen but makes me wonder.

Eagles just drafted Jurgens to be the center of the future. The Bucs probably just lost their center for the year. I’m sure they’d overpay for Kelce.

Calm down, I know Kelce is a Philly legend but just some food for thought
