One thing I read today.  The players only have to wear the guardian caps through week 2 of the pre season.  Makes no sense. If you want to protect them…protect them.  Reminds me of peak Covid when they would tell people restrictions would start in a few days at 11 PM.

I'm sorry I brough such a depressing topic into the blog.  A little back story without too much detail. I met my friend 12 years ago during an AF commissioning program. He was on top of the world

We (the EMB) currently sit at just over 940,000 posts. We're on pace for about 40,000 posts for the month of May. So it's looking like we'll break 1,000,000 posts within the first couple of weeks of J

I feel like I'm in an alternate reality every time I wonder if this team will have too many good LBs to get them all on the field next year.

The defense is normally ahead of the offense in training camp. On offense, you need timing more than you do on defense.

Nothing Hurts does in TC matters for his actual evaluation anyway

Edwards, Dean, White, Taylor not a bad group

Working to confirm, according to sports science this shouldn't happen

So Eagles will only have two training camp practices next year  now that we know injuries happen in the 3rd practice.

Again.  Wouldn’t OTA’s go a long way towards chemistry and such?

Helps when the QB doesn't take all the RedZone TDS for himself

In an alternate universe Miles Sanders would be giving a Ted Talk on the value of occasionally not eating the whole box of donuts to that group.

Holy cow.  I don’t see how she could have survive the that. That’s horrible.

The facts she’s alive is a miracle. I watched it a few times and… yeah it’s a miracle she’s alive albeit in serious condition.

The stage has some give in it when it falls. Probably the only thing that saved her.

It's actually a guy. I read an article that said he'll likely be paralyzed from the neck down depending on his recovery and if the damaged nerves grow back. Just awful.

Sanders had 5 rushing attempts inside the 5 last year and had -5 yards. Maybe that's the larger issue?

Ah yes. A whole season of no touchdowns comes from five carries. Don't forget who made the decision to hand it off or not in the scheme

Okay fair enough. That said the LED screen was an equal opportunity injury inflictor. The fact remains though that women or man they will have a long road to recovery what every that is.

C’mon, Siriani worked them for 5.5 out of 13 OTA’s. It would be one thing if they could start preseason earlier by missing 7 OTA practices, and it’s definitely just a preseason, this isn’t a training camp.

That brings up the larger question — does his draft stock and performance in the NFL dictate that he should be the starting QB without competition?  Likely not.

Jeff Lurie and Howie Roseman dictate that.

I think Hurts is the current starting QB more through circumstances than anything else.  $32M in dead money for Wentz last season made it almost impossible to bring in another experienced QB.  This offseason it appears the Eagles went the Wilson, Watson, or nothing route.

Wentz was long gone before the 2021 draft, do you think they were all in on Hurts, or not interested in any of the QB’s drafted?

Wentz was long gone but his cap hit wasn’t.

It was the money that was the problem. Largest dead cap in history at that point

Apparently Calcaterra is looking good.
