I'm sorry I brough such a depressing topic into the blog.  A little back story without too much detail. I met my friend 12 years ago during an AF commissioning program. He was on top of the world

Watkins. On that 91 yard pass vs SF

I mean he had an angle on him and had to grab at the back of his jersey.

Well Tartt is on his team now so won't have to worry about that anymore😁

Yup it's not like Tartt ran him down.

Tartt was already a head of where the ball was caught and had the angle, and  Watkins still almost pulled away.

I mean run faster

I love Quez, I think he could be a superstar with the right offense(QB).

But let's be realistically here, whats he gonna get, 35 targets?

He takes 5-6 of those to the house, he will make great money somewhere else

The Deshaun Watson ruling is an absolute disgrace. I hope Goodell steps in or it's going to be a bad look, respective to the other punishments he's given out.

The weird part of the ruling though is the judge ruled he can only get messages from team therapists. Sounds fine on the surface, but if you think about it I could see how it could end up being a lot worse. If a massage therapist out there is willing to work with Watson, that's their right. They have a right to work with any client they want and get money. They also have a right to turn him down and say they don't want to work with him. But with this ruling you're basically subjecting team massage therapists to having to work with a sexual deviant. Who's had a history of allegedly ejaculating on women. Imagine you are a team masseuse and you hear that. The anxiety that would cause.

And I guess sure, they could also say they don't want to work with Watson, but working for the team, that carries extra pressure, where they might feel they have to do it. Just gross all around.

They should be trying to lock up Quez on a cheap deal while they can.

Well they can’t, so…

Agree 100%

But you're putting a lot of faith in the QB finding him, reading the defense correctly and having the arm to get him the ball.

I have as much faith in Hurts being able to consistently get it to quez as I do in miles Sanders playing all 17 games in a season.

And now with a move down the depth chart, fighting with Reagor and Paschal for targets, he will be cheaper after this year.

He is now 4th on the team for targets, here is 4th last year.

Yup.

Watkins should have had close to 200 yards against the BUCS in the playoff game but Hurts failed to get him the ball.

I'm not convinced that adding brown is going to magically help hurts better able to get Watkins the ball when he's open.

From the reports at practice he is hyper focused on Brown

Teams are going to figure that out, take away Brown, take away the run.

Smith on the other side of the field waiting for his turn as the second option with a one option QB lol

That's be cause brown is now his 1st read and hurts is a 1 read QB.

Doesn't bode well for Smitty Watkins or goedert

So they should be focused on locking up their #3 WR after the season less than 1 week into camp?

He's 41 years old.  That's young?  🤣  So all of the other coaches who act like real head coaches behave like they're 60?  Do you dress and act like that in a professional setting?  Whatever that setting is?

Don't answer that.  I can only imagine what that would be, seeing some of your bs you spew in here.

41 for a HC is very young, sure. And yes, the rest is way older and it shows when they interact with others.

And this professional setting hardly is a  Bank. My setting indeed allows for a lot of freedom, not that that matters.

The 6 games stinks and it’s unfortunate the judge who was appointed to the position jointly by the league and PA tried to punt on this, saying to the two sides "you reach a settlement” — which was entirely wrong.  The position was created in the interest of having an independent, impartial arbiter, and all she did as a judge was fall back on past precedent with Zeke and Big Ben to cop out and take the easy path to hide behind.

Of course, equally as distasteful, was the NFLPA knowing in advance what the ruling would be and putting out a statement saying "we’ll abide by whatever the ruling is”.  Frickin’ slimy union turds.  Now unfortunately it’s left to the league to clean up the mess again.  Whether they will or not is another question.

Goodell has to be tempted to wash his hands of it and say ‘this is the process bargained by the CBA and this is the judge’s ruling’.  Sadly, she won’t be the one accountable to the public for it.

Having to deal with Davis regularly is going to be great practice for Jurgens. Even if he doesn't develop into a stud DT he's still a crazy athletic/crazy big player. If you can handle him you won't have a strength problem at the very least.

Jalen Reagor, still soft, still vanity searching himself less than an hour after practice.
