The Deshaun Watson ruling is an absolute disgrace. I hope Goodell steps in or it's going to be a bad look, respective to the other punishments he's given out.

The weird part of the ruling though is the judge ruled he can only get messages from team therapists. Sounds fine on the surface, but if you think about it I could see how it could end up being a lot worse. If a massage therapist out there is willing to work with Watson, that's their right. They have a right to work with any client they want and get money. They also have a right to turn him down and say they don't want to work with him. But with this ruling you're basically subjecting team massage therapists to having to work with a sexual deviant. Who's had a history of allegedly ejaculating on women. Imagine you are a team masseuse and you hear that. The anxiety that would cause.

And I guess sure, they could also say they don't want to work with Watson, but working for the team, that carries extra pressure, where they might feel they have to do it. Just gross all around.

NFL doing stupid NFL things

Ridley got a year for betting on himself and his team.

Hopkins got 6 games for PED violation.

Rothlisberger got 6 games for one sexual assault settled in court

Deshaun 25 seperate accusations of sexual misconduct/assault- 6 games.🤷‍♂️

Stupid ruling but whatever, won't take away that deshaun is a creep and shouldn't be near women or kids.

The 6 games stinks and it’s unfortunate the judge who was appointed to the position jointly by the league and PA tried to punt on this, saying to the two sides "you reach a settlement” — which was entirely wrong.  The position was created in the interest of having an independent, impartial arbiter, and all she did as a judge was fall back on past precedent with Zeke and Big Ben to cop out and take the easy path to hide behind.

Of course, equally as distasteful, was the NFLPA knowing in advance what the ruling would be and putting out a statement saying "we’ll abide by whatever the ruling is”.  Frickin’ slimy union turds.  Now unfortunately it’s left to the league to clean up the mess again.  Whether they will or not is another question.

Goodell has to be tempted to wash his hands of it and say ‘this is the process bargained by the CBA and this is the judge’s ruling.  Sadly, she won’t be the one accountable to the public for it.

I think it was more because Goodell or a crony he appoints would be the final judge upon appeal, so whatever Robinson handed out would be the most lenient punishment. There was no upside to an appeal for Watson.

Jalen Reagor, still soft, still vanity searching himself less than an hour after practice.

He'll deactivate his account by tomorrow.

Eagles first team targets before today - Goedert, 13, Brown, 9, Smith, 7, Watkins, 5. Maybe stop using an absolute moron as your source of information.

There is clear, concise, no interpretation rules and punishment in regards to NFL players gambling on NFL games.

So they should be focused on locking up their #3 WR after the season less than 1 week into camp?

You have delusions that they are coming to the blog for what they should be focused on right now?

I'm just saying I think it'd be a good idea that they lock him up when they can because he's the kind of high upside player that once they hit free agency a team will throw money at.

So many people like you here that will shoot off any and every opinion you have but the moment I say something then suddenly it's a big Fing issue.  Go touch grass.

It's training camp.

You really think goedert when the season starts is going to lead the team in Targets???

Can not find after a google search, what is the source of the target #'s you posted ??

You’d think with all the leadership that Hurts and Sirianni bring to the table, that he’d would have stopped this by now.

I'll give Hurts a ton of credit for not being Reagor and crying about everything on Twitter

A statement was made that Hurts was only targeting Brown in training camp. You jumped on that statement as fact. It turned out that what you thought was a fact was simply bs spewed by the biggest moron on this board. I am not interested in having a back and forth with you about it, i am just saying what u think is true is actually false. But whatever, be a moron.

As there is for PEDs

The question is why aren't there clear and concise rules and punishment for sexual assault.

If one were to simply follow precedence the precedence was 6 games for one case

Rothlisberger got 6 games for one women.

Ezekiel Elliott got 6 games for a domestic that was dropped due to conflicting evidence.

Deshaun Watson had 25 seperate cases against him 24 were settled in civic court, for what is confidential and doesn't absolve Watson of guilt

He still has one more case pending in federal court.

So how does 25 accusation equal a 6 game suspension when one for rothlisberger equals 6?

Like I said the NFL doing stupid NFL things

Almost as stupid as when goodell destroyed the spygate tapes 🤔

Shorr Parks tracks every throw. He posted the targets on twitter. If you want to see what parts of the field he is targeting, phillyvoice.com has a writer charting every throw as well, including 1 v 1s which shorr parks doesn't do.

Wow that escalated quickly 😕

Hurts has a short history of locking in on his first read and if it's not there tucking and running

His now 1st read will be AJ brown, the eagles didn't give up picks and give him a truck load of money to be a secondary target.

Which as I said doesnt bode well for the rest of the targets as hurts has t shown he can't consistently move off his first read and get them the ball

Now let's assume that the TC targets you posted hold true throughout the season.

If that's the case it would say to me that defenses are attempting to take away the outside passes to the right side of the field and forcing hurts to throw over the middle or to the left both areas of the field he's shown to struggle throwing to.

Targets may tell where hurts is going in the ball but dors t say anything about completions.

If goedert is leading the team in Targets during the season then something has gone awry.

So now Hurts is 1st round value because he’s in the bottom half of the league.  Wow.  I’ve seen desperate spin before.  But that takes the cake.

Go look at QB trades. Teams trade 1st rd value for middle of the road starters on a regular basis. Remember Bradford?
