I'm sorry I brough such a depressing topic into the blog.  A little back story without too much detail. I met my friend 12 years ago during an AF commissioning program. He was on top of the world

If you had to pick between these two scenarios, which would you pick.

1) Cowboys have a good year, win the division, you don’t consider them favorites to make the Super Bowl though, but obviously could), and Eagles miss the playoffs. After the season, the Cowboys keep McCarthy, but the Eagles fire Sirianni and hire Sean Payton.

2) Eagles win division and make the playoffs, but do so in somewhat similar fashion to last season where Hurts doesn’t look great, and you don’t have much faith at all they can make any noise in the playoffs. Cowboys miss the playoffs, fire McCarthy and hire Sean Payton.

Has anyone here ever had any back issues? Whether it be a herniated/bulging disc or something else?

If you have something serious, you typically know, right?

A couple nights ago I was watching TV before bed, and a spider fell from the ceiling on to me and it startled the hell out of me, and I kinda did a violent jolt in bed. I didn't feel anything at all at the time. I took a shower, moved around after that... felt absolutely nothing.

The next day though in the mid afternoon I started to have  upper back soreness that radiates to my rib cage. I figure though if I did something to my back, I'd have felt it when I jolted in bed and not like 12 hours later randomly.

It could be a herniated thoracic disc or a muscular injury.  It would seem like it's more likely a strain with what you describe.  A delay in symptoms isn't at all unusual.  If it's not getting better in a week I would make an appointment with an ortho clinic.

There's just something about this team with putting on the pads and bowel movements

Scenario 1 all day, as Payton would be able to pick his QB.

Let's play a game Mr. Hurts,

Guy A-  15-20, 190 yards, 0Td 0INT

Guy B- 29 for 40  219 yards, 2td, 1INT

Guy c - 23-36 - 279 yards 1 Touchdown Zero INT

You tell me which guy is Hurts, and which one if Darnold of those 3, I'll let you pick my avatar for the next month

When your agreement has been completely destroyed you resort to taking random single game sample sizes as if they hold any relavancy over the sample size of last season or their careers.

As there is for PEDs

The question is why aren't there clear and concise rules and punishment for sexual assault.

If one were to simply follow precedence the precedence was 6 games for one case

Rothlisberger got 6 games for one women.

Ezekiel Elliott got 6 games for a domestic that was dropped due to conflicting evidence.

Deshaun Watson had 25 seperate cases against him 24 were settled in civic court, for what is confidential and doesn't absolve Watson of guilt

He still has one more case pending in federal court.

So how does 25 accusation equal a 6 game suspension when one for rothlisberger equals 6?

Like I said the NFL doing stupid NFL things

Almost as stupid as when goodell destroyed the spygate tapes 🤔

For the sake of us all, go read the civil complaints.  Even with the usual Buzbee hyperbole (plaintiff attorneys are basically immune to libel and slander laws as to filings and what they say in court), some of the complaints were basically lewd conduct or propositioning.  Very few alleged much more. A lot of the contact alleged was during the massage.  Kind of hard to massage the groin muscle on a man and not bump into the external private parts. Because of that the NFL narrowed their focus to five cases.  The personal conduct policy does set parameters and the suspension is within those. Remember, no criminal charges were pursued.

Seems to be feeling a little better today. The pain in the ribs is gone, now it's basically just general stiffness, soreness.

The whole Flores allegation that he was tampering with Tom Brady while he was still under contract.

Also Sean Payton, apparently.

I wonder if they just ignored the paid to lose allegations that Flores made.

One of my all time favorite NFL preseason moments was when Lendale White showed up to Titans camp 30 pounds lighter than the year before, and when asked how he did it he basically said he stopped drinking Tequila.

I've read them, also groin muscle isn't normal area to massage.

As for criminal charges not being brought  doesn't mean Watson didn't act criminally.

You may choose to justify And minimize watsons behavior I'm going to choose not to.

Facts are lost when someone wants to go for the sensational headline.  Lowest common denominator syndrome.  It's obvious he didn't sexually assault those women.  But he is a slimball.

Define sexual assault?

It's in the report. They couldn't find enough evidence to support but I wouldn't be surprised if it was a factor in determining the punishment

As for criminal charges not being brought  doesn't mean Watson didn't act criminally. Uh...it kinda does...

You may choose to justify And minimize watsons behavior I'm going to choose not to. Nobody is minimizing what he did, everybody acknowledges he's a degenerate.

Never said I knew what Watsons issue was, said massage therapist don't routinely .massage the groin, especially ones one might find on Instagram.

Having had areas like my groin massaged before during a massage there are ways the therapist wraps the blanket or sheet around your junk so as to avoid any physical contact with ones junk. ( I had a tumor pressing on multiple organs that caused a lot of pain in that area and others.

As for him not being criminally charged.

He wasn't charged federally

In civil court he was charged 25 times and settled 24 of those cases, the details of those settlements are confidential mostly to protect the victims, people who are innocent of any criminal activity don't settle in court.

Saying he didn't commit any crime is minimizing and justifying his negative impact on his victims and society.

Saying " we all know he didn't sexually assault those women" is minimizing his actions and stigmatizing his victims.

Justifying his lewd contact as just part of a massage is minimizing and justifying his behavior And victim shaming.

Calling it just" lewd" behavior is minimizing his actions.

Calling it " non violent sexual acts" as the arbitrator did, is minimizing his actions.
