Didn't realize the Steelers signed Genard Avery.  Never liked the trade they made for him but watch him produce for the Steelers.

Yup, at worst he'll be in a scheme that gives him his best chance at success.

I'm sorry I brough such a depressing topic into the blog.  A little back story without too much detail. I met my friend 12 years ago during an AF commissioning program. He was on top of the world

We (the EMB) currently sit at just over 940,000 posts. We're on pace for about 40,000 posts for the month of May. So it's looking like we'll break 1,000,000 posts within the first couple of weeks of J

If I'm Howie Roseman, I'm watching the Browns closely.  Either watching their cuts in a trade, they have talent at safety that would help the Eagles.

Well, let me see if I can make it clear for you.

Does this help ??

Apparently the post above by @Shalodeep is gloating.  Hopefully me explanation will help him understand.

This is a message board and the comment is in line with other commenters about players but let's not pretend that it's respectful of the player.  I mean would it be something that @Shalodeep would be comfortable saying to Isaac's face? I doubt it.  I don't think it's gloating over it.

So I've been quoted so many times over one of the smallest post I've ever made XD and for the record I like Isaac, but the dude sits on the couch like a fan for more than half a season lol I'm not gloating at all, but IR Isaac is fitting at the moment

It's a comment on a message board and it doesn't matter.

agree, Cj stroud is Fields 2.0, who was Haskins 2.0

Ohio State has been trotting out the Same QB for 15 years and the NFL is still dumb enough to draft them.

While Ohio St doesn’t produce QBs, I wouldn’t say Stroud is Fields 2.0. I would take Stroud 10/10 times over him.

Ohio State is doing something right.  Maybe their never ending stable of WRs and good coaching helps make the QBs look a lot better than they are.

But would you take him 99 times out of 100 ??

I believe you have experience with the criminal court system.  I have decades of experience with the civil court system.  I understand your belief that the accuser’s word prevails.  But that isn’t the basis for adjudication in a civil proceeding.   I am on record of not wanting Watson.  From the way Hardin responded, I believe there was at the least inappropriate behavior on his part.

Innocent in the eyes of the court.  TV jurisprudence language. A person isn’t found innocent.  Rather the State fails to prove guilt.  Here, the evidence was insufficient in the eyes of two grand juries to even warrant indictment.  Grand juries are strictly the prosecutors and the grand jury. No defense.

My take on the non-indictment was that it was what the prosecutor wanted.  There are a number of reasons why they may not have vigorously sought an indictment.  First, is that conviction even with multiple witnesses is difficult (or perceived as difficult) in sexual miscounduct/assault cases.  There was no violence where the women were physically harmed.  These cases would be hard fought and expensive prosecutions for the state.  They would have have reliable victims that were willing to participate in the contentious litigation over the next year of their lives or more.  The victims were seeking and likely to receive financial compensation from the perpetrator without the criminal prosecution.  A criminal case could actually hamper their recovery and the ability to resolve that litigation.  I think those factors likely played a role in the evidence that was presented and the fact that Hardin was allowed to provide a power point to at least one of the grand juries.

That would definitely be we_gotta_believe but he's not in the blog much anymore.  CVON consumes his life now.

He seems like the kind of guy who would interrupt a police interaction, video tape it, ask for badge numbers and tell them it's his right to be there while causing a scene and getting in the way of the officers doing their job all while claiming to be a victim while being a bystander.

With that being said, that official needs to grow a pair and stand his ground.  Caved and walked away like a dog with his tail between his legs.

The official is probably making about $2 bucks an hour.  What's he get out of going chest to chest or throwing down with the guy?  Even if he wins the fight/argument he loses.

Not suggesting he throw down but money aside, he's still the official and is there to keep the order and make sure rules are being obeyed.  Sounds like the ****er had some sort of time violation, which an official has 100% power to enforce and that guy puts on his big boy boots to throw a fit.  It's more and more common behavior for the up and coming generation.  Just saw it with my 12 year old nephew this past weekend and nothing was done.

I can't really grow much of a beard, just stubble.

That and if I get up in someone's face I wouldn't have the audacity to ask them to step back

Having said that frisbee golf is a good time when one has nothing else to do, weather permitting.

I'd rather frisbee golf than golf but rather mini golf than Frisbee golf🤷‍♂️

Golf is too expensive,👎 Frisbee golf is free, sans the price of the Frisbee.
