Welp 1st play of the pre season and already a horrible roughing the passer.

He barely touched him and the commentators didn’t mention why it was even a penalty.

I'm sorry I brough such a depressing topic into the blog.  A little back story without too much detail. I met my friend 12 years ago during an AF commissioning program. He was on top of the world

Same thing I thought.  Not one mention of why it was a penalty.  If the commentators are numb to it then it's just going to get worse.

Hold on to your butts gentleman...Monkeypox is now a national emergency.

you aren't allowed to talk about it but....

A sexual encounter was the likely source of spread in 91.5% of reported transmission events, according to the WHO report, with the most common setting being a "large event with sexual contacts.” Clubs, raves, saunas and other venues where there is close contact with many people may increase the risk of exposure, especially if people are wearing less clothing. Data from outbreaks in Canada, Spain, Portugal, and the UK suggest venues where men have sex with multiple partners are helping to drive spread

It was obvious that they were going to win the game if Hurts stayed in.  Washington wasn't getting  anything done on offense at that point.  It was in the Eagles best interests to lose that game and there isn't anything wrong with that.

So obvious when the QB had 72 yards passing and had completed 35% of his passes 2 drives into the 3rd quarter.

And this guy thinks we should listed to him about football.

Hall of fame fame has been on Thursday night since 2017

One final thought.  Far be it from me to put too much emphasis on Qb rushing yards, but McNabb also is top 10 all time in that category.  Yards, most of those HOF QB's don't have. I hesitated to use rushing yards, especially because of the Squirters in here.  But it should be considered.

9 playoff wins, more than Steve Young and Dan Marino.  Every eligible QB who has won that many playoff games, is in the Hall.  NFCCG in 5 straight seasons.  That's pretty strong.  From 2000 to 2009 only Manning, Favre and Brady had more regular season wins.

He deserves to be considered and if he does get in, it would take a long time.  But to cast him aside is a little silly.  I suspect it has a little to do with his personality or how he's acted since he left.  You asked for an argument, that's what I got.  Let me know if you wanna see all of my McNabb bobbleheads.  I only have like 4 or 5.

I threw those names out there because they were either from McNabb's era or slightly before.  And yes, they are ridiculous.

As for the rushing yards... I do discount that.  That's not what the NFL QB position is, or has been measured by.  McNabb never once led the league in any major passing category.

But, more importantly, we had a discussion about football.   And that was my goal by making a statement that was admittedly, a little over the top to generate discussion.   He'll get some votes, no doubt.  I just don't think he'll end up with a bust, nor do I think he should.  But, plenty of others have as well, and this class sure makes that point even more clearly than years prior.  Thanks for the conversation.

Good thing Nick Sirianni moved practice up, because it’s raining in S. Philly now.

Did you think he was some kind of amateur and not analyzing the dew point?

It's actually the MXS line that would be being installed.

Send like the Bryant system is easy more efficient cooling. 25 SEER vs 20 SEER.

But the Daikin is maybe slightly better heating. But there are minimal differences in HSPF and COP.

I feel like maybe it'll all equal out over the course of the year.

The combined heating and cooling adds addition factors I haven’t had to personally contemplate before. I bought a place 4 years ago that had a furnace but no A/C. Bought and had a condensing unit installed and the coil, but went with a lesser SEER because for the cooling hours typical in Syracuse, going to one of the higher SEER units would have had like a 7.5yr payoff before the energy savings would offset the extra cost of that unit. I didn’t plan to sell and move to Minnesota within 2yrs, but I knew I wasn’t going to likely be there more than 5 years, so I chose the lesser cost option.

Apparently Hurts was scrambling in 7 on 7 drills? 🤣 Wtf is that? That can't be real.

Fold on Hurts. Fold.

Maybe it was a designed run. That happens.  Just not in 7x7.

However, it's not a sexually transmitted disease, rather it spreads through close contact, like a pickup basketball game as well as a rave.

So expect the spread to become more general, especially as school starts - I mean kids never come in close contact.

Skin on skin contact. You're right that it's not exclusively a STD. Pickup basketball game. Intramural tackle football. All possibilities.

But the overwhelming majority are contracting it through homosexual encounters.

It's why the media is now proclaiming we call it MPX instead of monkey pox. We don't want to offend monkeys apparently.

Not a single comment about the HOF game? Football is back!

So Hurts is still running to his right...in a controlled environment that is meant specifically for passing...and people wonder why many of us don't believe in him.

Too racist of me?

Whether one likes it or not, we are all stuck with Hurts thru at least have of this year.  If he really sheets the bed, doesn't improve at all, and we are 3-5 or something then we could see a change.  Otherwise, it is Hurts or bust this year and we can then spend the offseason chasing a QB.

Buckle up for the ride...

Still trying to figure out how 2 players got concussions while wearing these monstrosities....
