Hurts would need to add another 100+ passing attempts without his accuracy taking a hit to reach 4k passing yards. It's hard to see that happening for someone with a career 58.9% completion rate.

You're right and I phrased it as a team offense when I was looking at QB passing yards.  I was wrong that 4,000 would mean a top 10 passing offense based on stats last season. So it should be that it would put him as a likely top 10 passing yards QB.  Where we probably agree is that it's unlikely for Hurts to hit 4,000 yards.  I would put his chances in the range of 3 in 10.  I am guessing you would put it at .1 in 10.

Yup.

His Defense scheme last year was sooo blah and conservative and boring,  we were told he lacked the personnel to run his schemes as he wanted and this year there's no excuse, so hopefully he pulls all the tricks out of his bag and the D plays really well.

I don't think they have the safeties to be a say top 5 D but I expect them to be top 10 at least.

I was staying in Berea, OH for 3 weeks back in July.  Berea, OH is where the Browns practice facility is located.  Lovely little town and the temps there were about 10+ degrees cooler than they are in Philly.  I was sharing with my wife how lovely it was there, while there was a massive heat wave hitting home.  The lake effect is real.   A few days I woke up and the temp was in the high 50s, no joke.

Teams calling Eagles on Jalen Reagor


It appears Jalen Reagor is back in trade rumors, Sam Robinson of Pro Football Rumors reports. After they cropped up during the spring, rumblings of the former first-round pick being moved out of Philadelphia quieted. But teams are again looking into the third-year wide receiver.

Two teams have called Eagles GM Howie Roseman about Reagor in recent days, per InsidetheBirds.com’s Geoff Mosher, who adds one AFC squad has done so along with an NFC team. Roseman backed Reagor in a post-draft statement this year, but the former TCU standout has not yet justified his lofty draft slot (No. 21 overall). That has helped prompt the Eagles to devote significant resources to the receiver position in both the 2021 and ’22 offseasons.

That said, Reagor is believed to be ticketed for the No. 4 receiver role in Philly. A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith and Quez Watkins are ahead of the TCU product, but the Eagles also signed Zach Pascal. While the former Nick Sirianni Colts charge may be behind Reagor at this point, Pascal could surely step in as the Eagles’ top backup wideout. He played that role extensively in Indianapolis, a team that has experienced consistent injuries at the receiver position in recent years.

Take anything you can get for him. Bucket of used footballs? Take it. QB's towel that fell off in practice and he doesn't want to use anymore cause he thinks it's bad luck? Take it.

Would love to be a fly on the wall during those discussions.

I'm sure opposing GMs are totally low balling Howie and Howie is probably stubbornly sticking to way too high asking price.

We'll see what transpires, I'm not a huge Howie fan but the guy usually gets the better end of any trade.

Wish I could say the same about his drafts ...

In the Athletic article with Berman and their Brown’s reporter, the Brown’s reporter suggests that D’Ernest Johnson is more likely a trade prospect than Hunt.   bleech.  Dude is glacial in speed and not big enough to justify it.  Makes Kennedy Brooks look like Quez in speed.
