August 18, 20223 yr How much playing time will Sirianni give the 1s? I'd like to see them play at least a full quarter. Would like to see Strong get some action and also see if Sinnett is able to bounce back. This team is going to carry 3 QB's, but who's taking that 3rd spot?

May not like his drafts, whatever, but dude can sus out a deal. Just traded that deadweight JJAW for a potential player when nobody was interested in that zombie. Bradford deal, moved Wentz's unmovable contract, etc., etc. He ain't perfect but he wears Eagles Green.

No you dolt, I wanted an open competition between all the QBs. Which means each getting reps with the ones. If "your boy" is so good, he shouldn't have any problem beating out those "scrubs". Alas....we'll never know what could be, because our coach is a cuck.

If they can get something for Arcega WS, then they should be able to get something for Reagor. Even if it's another player who maybe is a bust with another team. Doesn't have to be a draft pick.

Zero for those that have won starting roles, except where injury requires otherwise. Per the Athletic, "This arrangement and the general itinerary were set months ago by the head coaches, the Eagles’ Nick Sirianni and the Browns’ Kevin Stefanski. Both plan to get their starters some full-speed work over the two practice days and then mostly shut things down for the weekend. Both coaches have said Sunday’s preseason game will be mostly for young players and guys down the depth chart.”

These guys talk. It's mutual until they take the field in the Regular Season and Games count. Use each other to evaluate, you help me, I'll help you. The plan moving forward is make your team better. Use all your resources. Coaches get it.

Yup, I think reagor around the league still has a bit of value, much like 1st round qbs lots of coaches and organizations think they have what it takes to get the most out of a player Reagor had a bunch of physical talent, it's everything else, I'm not sure what value other GMs out in that but I'm sure like I said Howie isnt going to give him away for trash. I'll definitely be watching to see what happens I was a big fan of reagor pre draft, his collrge tape he was the fastest guy in the field every game, and he sued at around 185lbs, I think whoever recommended he bulk up to 200 should be fired as since in the NFL he looks nothing like the quick twitch athlete he was in college, he's looked sluggish and uninterested and just flat out bad. Who knows maybe he stays this year and makes the most of those 3 plays a game Sirianni talked about giving him.🤷♂️

All the talent in the world, awesome history of college ball, why doesn't it translate? This is the part where the transition to the NFL may be too much for some guys. Is it the glare of the lights?, Locker room pressure to perform?, Press access asking questions all day, coaches trying to refine but pigeonhole your talents? I think the answer lies somewhere in the middle. NFL may just be too big for some guys.... Either way, Howie, make a deal....

Already in mid season form.

Time to stop the run in its tracks and get after the QB. Davis and Fletch should eat up the middle, look out for Riddick, spankin new LB corps should be able to flow or drop out to cover, Secondary has some players now, excited for the prospects of an aggressive D, not reactive. I hope Gannon is better and not just creative but effective. Having different looks and blitzing more doesn't fix problems if they aren't shutting teams down. They cannot have QBs throwing at an 80% clip against them. It's not like the secondary was that much worse last season than 2020. Gannon underperformed with essentially the same talent that Schwartz had the prior season.
August 18, 20223 yr As someone who supported Watson, and the Eagles pursuit of him while waiting for the facts to come out, I 100% agree with Joe Banner and admit that I was wrong about who he is as a person.
August 18, 20223 yr Is this including today? That seems pretty last minute if it's including today. That also sucks that the defense wont go against him

Yup against the jets he sent a couple over load blitzes out of hybrid nickel look where he brought the outside edge that same side ILB and a nickel DB and neither of them got home, both throws the got rid of the ball quickly to the void, I think one was against Edwards in coverage not sure about the other one So While it's nice to see a blitz here and there if like you say it's not effective then who cares how creative it was. We'll see, I don't take a lot from preseason D because it's usually pretty vanilla stuff, even the blitzes so I'm definitely looking forward to see what gannon brings game 1.

After they cropped up during the spring, rumblings of the former first-round pick being moved out of Philadelphia quieted. But teams are again looking into the third-year wide receiver. Two teams have called Eagles GM Howie Roseman about Reagor in recent days, per InsidetheBirds.com’s Geoff Mosher, who adds one AFC squad has done so along with an NFC team. Roseman backed Reagor in a post-draft statement this year, but the former TCU standout has not yet justified his lofty draft slot (No. 21 overall). That has helped prompt the Eagles to devote significant resources to the receiver position in both the 2021 and ’22 offseasons. That said, Reagor is believed to be ticketed for the No. 4 receiver role in Philly. A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith and Quez Watkins are ahead of the TCU product, but the Eagles also signed Zach Pascal. While the former Nick Sirianni Colts charge may be behind Reagor at this point, Pascal could surely step in as the Eagles’ top backup wideout. He played that role extensively in Indianapolis, a team that has experienced consistent injuries at the receiver position in recent years. Howie on his High School girlfriend: 1 hour ago, bpac55 said: Hurts averaged 209 yards passing per game last year. You think he's just going to start throwing for 40 yards more per game? AJ Brown is an upgrade that will make him more effective. Brown adds to the short passing game because of his YAC ability. That's the context to a likely improvement more than Hurts just being much better.

Gannon's defense was better in every category.
