I'm sorry I brough such a depressing topic into the blog.  A little back story without too much detail. I met my friend 12 years ago during an AF commissioning program. He was on top of the world

As someone who supported Watson, and the Eagles pursuit of him while waiting for the facts to come out, I 100% agree with Joe Banner and admit that I was wrong about who he is as a person.

I am in same boat as you!

I just now check in for the day, and see the thread title change....

of course  I have to go back and see what caused it.... it's like a train wreck.

:pizza:

So the $5 million dollar fine Watson pays....where exactly does that money go to?

That’s actually hilarious.

Norm Cash of the Tigers once brought a table leg up to the plate to face Nolan Ryan (in 9th inning) 🤣🤣 who was throwing a 1 hit shutout w/double figure strikeouts.

Umpire didn’t notice until he had taken a pitch (ump reaction is laughter) and told Cash "you can’t use that”. Cash’s response was "why not? I’m not gonna hit him anyway”.

The footage is on YouTube. Camera work wasn’t good back then.

No practice tweets?

That startled me so I looked it up.

2020 (Washburn)  Yards per game - 363.10, Passing yards per game - 237.40, Rushing Yards per game - 125.80, Points per game - 26.10

2021 (Gannon)      Yards per game - 328.80, Passing yards per game - 220.90, Rushing Yards per game - 107.90, Points per game - 22.60.

Gannon's defense was better in every category.

To be fair, JR, you also have to look at time of possession.

Essentially DeVonta is cooking the Browns and Hurts went 5/5 and 4/4 in 7v7 & 11v11 so far. Backup QBs look sloppy, throwing picks. Strong still not getting reps.

We are having them moderated first.

2016 they had Bradford, Daniels, and Wentz in camp, but you are correct that they only had 2 for majority of the season. They traded Bradford a couple of days before week 1 and rolled with Wentz as everyone knows. Sudfeld was signed before the season started in 2017. Since 2010 there's only 3 seasons they haven't had 3 QBs, 2010, 2015, and 2016. I would expect them to carry 3 again this year.

Take anything you can get for him. Bucket of used footballs? Take it. QB's towel that fell off in practice and he doesn't want to use anymore cause he thinks it's bad luck? Take it.

I'd take a 7th rounder in 2028 draft.

Interesting thread

are there any Browns beat writers to follow on twitter?  Would be interesting to see their perspective of practice.

Roster is deeper this year than it has been in a long time.  I wouldn't be shocked if they go 3 QB's but they might if they fear they would lose Sinnett if cut.

I don't see how he can be the future if he can't even get and stay on the field

I would have traded him this past offseason. He just cant stay healthy

Real excited to see Smith this year.

Teams calling Eagles on Jalen Reagor

It appears Jalen Reagor is back in trade rumors, Sam Robinson of Pro Football Rumors reports. After they cropped up during the spring, rumblings of the former first-round pick being moved out of Philadelphia quieted. But teams are again looking into the third-year wide receiver.

Two teams have called Eagles GM Howie Roseman about Reagor in recent days, per InsidetheBirds.com’s Geoff Mosher, who adds one AFC squad has done so along with an NFC team. Roseman backed Reagor in a post-draft statement this year, but the former TCU standout has not yet justified his lofty draft slot (No. 21 overall). That has helped prompt the Eagles to devote significant resources to the receiver position in both the 2021 and ’22 offseasons.

That said, Reagor is believed to be ticketed for the No. 4 receiver role in Philly. A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith and Quez Watkins are ahead of the TCU product, but the Eagles also signed Zach Pascal. While the former Nick Sirianni Colts charge may be behind Reagor at this point, Pascal could surely step in as the Eagles’ top backup wideout. He played that role extensively in Indianapolis, a team that has experienced consistent injuries at the receiver position in recent years.

Clowney is the perfect name to sum up his career.

This implies Watson will practice against the Eagles, just not with the 1s

Hookers and blow.

But seriously, I believe the League donates fine money to various charities.
