Being better than those should not mean he deserves a big contract like Murray and Lamar IMO though

Because I'm sure he's saw Murrays contract and feels he should get the same or better

A few thoughts on this:

-- any long term starting QB extension is $40M+ in today's money

-- Hurts isn't showing up to OTAs next season without an extension

-- the $40M+ paydays should only be for the top quartile of QBs, that means top 8 out of 32

-- in 2022 Hurts would need to lead the Eagles to a division win and 1+ playoff win and 11+ victories (if I had to predict now, the Eagles go 10-7 and wildcard loss)

I'd be curious to see what Cousins would do in an offense like this.

You mean an offense loaded with weapons ??

He has been in that offense for the last two years.

What position depth are you still most concerned with?  Corner makes me nervous (obviously like Slay, Bradberry, and Maddox) but after that I'm not sure who is 1st person up.

Also was a treat to watch Jurgens... Dude looks like a beast.

Tight end.  No question.

But JFC.  Can you imagine if this guy was our QB for the next 5 years?  Holy hell.

If he wins who cares.

I think I just figured out a way to keep him out of here.

You just gave me a reason to watch this show.

Safety and it's not even close. We don't even have 2 starters let alone depth.

Wish they dropped House of the Dragon earlier this summer. Show looks to be great after one episode, just sucks how I'll have to decide between it and Sunday Night Football starting in a few weeks.

Do you live in 1988?

That's the reason the draft is crucial; if Howie waits on drafting QB because he thinks he's got one more season with Hurts on an entry level deal, then Hurts holds out/holds in with Howie having no contingency plan at QB -- that will be some serious egg on his face.

That is a surprise ... what about Stoll, Togiai, Calcaterra, Rodgers are you uncomfortable with?  Especially when compared to our situation at Safety?

Has anyone actually called JG Wentworth or know someone who has?  For as much as I see their ads, I don't know one person.

A bunch of suckers

I think him healthy is a 28/12 4k guy here. Nothing super special , but enough. Can never say he didn't have talent around him

Baker is a much better passer than Hurts.  He was in the same offense in college and has been in the pros.  He also still isn't good enough.

$19m and a conditional 2024 5th versus 2nd round pick and $1.6m with an extra year under contract...well, that depends on an individual team's cap situation.  If you choose between 2 guys you know aren't good enough, go with the cheaper option.

They are still a couple rungs above the personal injury attorneys that pollute the airwaves and billboards everywhere.

The gap between Goedert and the rest is significant.  He is a top-5/-10 player.  The backups are truly backups.  It would impact our scheme.

Can't say the same for safety.  The backups aren't that far away from the starters.  Doubtful that the game plan would change.

In no particular order, running back, safety, defensive end, defensive tackle.

I am personally enjoying the lack of depth at TE, as it signifies a decisive departure from that debacle of an infatuation phase with 12 personnel.

You can't DVR the show and watch it later?  Or if you have HBO max watch it anytime?

I recorded it but haven't got around to watching it yet.

I know, but he had 9 catches three seasons ago and has done nothing at the professional level since. He's a scrub.

You're a scrub! I'm sorry I didn't mean it. I just got caught up in my feelings lol. I know all that but I have liked what I've seen for him in the preseason. It's better then having Reagor on the team

Didn't someone here say Stoll was already an elite blocker?

@austinfan said he was the best pass blocking TE in the NFL

Little homework...

Start paying attention to when they're running their ads and what your doing. i.e. what type of show your watching, type of music, etc etc.

Don't try and Kyler Murray me, buddy
