Whoopsie

And got less average yards and about 2/3rds of yards the Eagles got from Boston Scott.  No thanks.

I'm sorry I brough such a depressing topic into the blog.  A little back story without too much detail. I met my friend 12 years ago during an AF commissioning program. He was on top of the world

Always liked Drake, not sure how much he's got left if the raiders are cutting him???

He's been productive in the past as a backup and pretty good as the lead man for a year in Arizona.

Raiders are pretty deep at RB.

Josh Jacobs

Zamir White

Brandon Bolden

What happened to him anyway?  Feels like he fell off big time once he went to Vegas. But that might be fantasy football bias

Didn’t fit the Raiders apparently.  Drake is 28 and way overpriced.

Go figure, the Eagles are looking to unload their former 1st round TCU WR for peanuts.  The Cowboys sign a former TCU WR and he has 2 return TDs in one game.

Hell, I was just happy that the punt Covey waived off yesterday bounced in to the endzone.

He's a 26 year-old scumbag with two domestic battery charges against him, and was kicked off his college team and toiled in Europe and the USFL -- he's a Turd, through-and-through.

Do you honestly think he has a meaningful NFL career in front of him?

Meaningful no.  More productive than Reagor yes.

He won't be on an NFL roster at the end of this year and won't be heard from again.

I know -- it should have been Chrissie Hynde, because after that Mets series the Phillies are clearly Pretenders.

Don't go there.  Chrissie is royalty.

It helps that the defense line and line backers played so bad that the safeties were able to make all those tackles and increase their rating

I'd pass on Drake

Me too. A finesse player with some miles on him.

Really looking forward to the opener. The Lions have as good an OL as we will see this year. Not going to be a game for the faint of heart.

Aidan Hutchinson vs. Mailata. Yum!

I like Hooker a lot.  Would love to see UT become relevant again.

hopefully they show us the Hutchinson press box as much as they can.

Yeah no one ever said the raiders were smart...

Mike Mayock was pretty much a disaster from the get-go. So many wasted draft picks.

Nice to see the Eagles letting this nice middle school kid in the locker room after the game.

We know

While we're on the topic of SEC QB's.  Our old buddy Trey Burton was at UF practice.  Gotta say I'm excited to see if Richardson can live up to the hype.

And who were they even playing against, back ups to back ups and practice squad guys?

Hope no Eagles player gets arrested down in Miami this week.  Eagles probably flying down there tonight or tomorrow (not sure if joint practices start tomorrow or Wednesday).  They will be there until Saturday night.  That's a long time in a city with a nightlife like that for young rich athletes away from their wives and gfs.  Not just a one night fly in like a regular season game.

I hope they get hammered and f hookers. It's not everyday they can get away from their itches. Except Hurts, he still needs to learn how to play qb. He better work on his mechanics while he's down there

Before you get your panties into too much of a wad, if you look at the First Half statistics.  14 runs for 93 yards ... a 6.6 YPC is not good.  4 scrambles for 47 of those yards came from Dobbs, which leaves 10 runs for 46 yards by the RBs ... a 4.6 YPC better, but still not great.  Dobbs' 4 runs were on scramble for 36 yards and 3 scrambles for a total of 11 yards ... only 3.7 YPC for the three.  Absent the 36 yard scramble you have 13 runs for 61 yards ... again a 4.6 YPC average.  The first 6 runs were for 69 yards and the 8 runs thereafter were for 24 yards ... a 3.0 YPC average.

There is no doubt the d-line and LBs were disappointing, but lets not let that disappointment rise to the Chicken Little level.

I'm a fan of his but yea... let's relax on the comparison

I don't understand the slurp fest on him

Really dont think Drake is washed, at all yet.

Still a great receiving back, and not a bad runner either. More strength than any of our RBs behind Sanders.

And getting him without having to trade. Im all over that. Very solid player. His problem is the same as sanders. Always some minor injury.
