You know what former Eagles QB was born in Raleigh NC?  Hint:  He can throw the ball a hell of lot better than Jalen Tebow.

That doesn’t narrow it down much lol.

I'm sorry I brough such a depressing topic into the blog.  A little back story without too much detail. I met my friend 12 years ago during an AF commissioning program. He was on top of the world

Commander Red!

I think is is a decent place to put this post. If it gets moved, I understand.

I noticed an article that talks about how the coaching of the defense is now split into 3 groups, instead of everyone in one room together. It seems very intentional and looks like a great idea to get everyone more focused and pay attention to detail this year. It also hints at a hybrid type of D, which is no surprise, after seeing what type of players the Eagles got in the offseason.

Here is a breakdown of the coaches and groups:

How has Joe Ostman been on this team for 3 years and he has no number? Shenanigans!

Bears getting 3 primetime games in the first 7 weeks, that team sucks.

He’s no ordinary joe…

Let’s see what he does when he’s no longer a rookie.

The plan is to increase Jalen's trade value and move him next offseason.

I'd argue that barring a pro bowl season, he's gone next year.

Use of the word conspiracy suggest there's some illegal plan or in this case some underhanded plan.  There's nothing underhanded about the Eagles approach to Hurts.  I don't think anyone is conspiring and it's not some secret that they would have upgraded the position with a trade for Wilson or Watson this offseason.  I do think that they didn't see any QB with that kind of potential in the draft.  There's likely going to be some better prospects in next year's class.  They have 2 first round picks.  It wouldn't shock anyone if they moved on from Hurts.  Even his most ardent supporters are betting on his ability to improve as a passer.  No one is saying Hurts played well enough last season to solidify himself as a top QB.  The Eagles FO is watching the same games we are.  Hurts would, I am sure, acknowledge his limitations and that he needs to improve.

The Eagles are giving him every opportunity to do so.  They have surrounded Hurts with the most weapons this team has had since the years of Lesean, Maclin and DJax.  They have one of the best O-lines they have had.  They have a coach that is willing to adjust his scheme to Hurts' strengths.  I don't think they have done anything to undermine him this upcoming season.  This isn't a situation where they want him to tank the team.  I do think Lurie/Roseman will push Sirianni to make Hurts run a passiing attack rather than being a run first team.

I bet he has your mom's number but that doesn't make him special.

I for one cannot wait to see the humpers high fiving each other when Hurts does well against mediocre teams like Detroit week 1. It'll be all that more amusing when he once again wets his pants against a good team like we all know he will.

Talks died after the Ravens realized the Eagles actually did in fact draft Jalen Reagor and not Justin Jefferson

Plenty of time to start that conversation back up

Lets be honest with ourselves. The talks died because Howie said he wanted a 3rd round pick and Chuck Clark to move Reagor and the Ravens just laughed and hung up the phone.

So the blog Is about 50 losses behind your total? Please come again with your Reuben randle is the second best wr on the eagles, saquan was going to be an all time rb so we should’ve traded everything to get him, start Nate sudfeld in his first ever start in a playoff game.  your batting average is so great here that you should really be talking about everyone’s Ls… then there’s the whole you also managed to get yourself banned. Congrats on your achievement.

A lot of people I know have left their previous industries because similar pay is coming from easier jobs. People at Dunkin are making 18 an hour right now while kitchen jobs are still starting at 13. Plus Amazon warehouses are popping up everywhere. Had 3 old employees get up and quit together and start together there.

I don't know what industry you're in but I wouldn't consider working at a Dunkin Donuts or Amazon warehouse easy jobs.  I mean it's not like they're sitting around and doing nothing.  Not to mention, food workers tend to get scheduled in hap hazard manners to fit shifting schedules.

I remember last year they erupted when he threw a simple corner TD pass to Smith week 1

"I thought he couldn't throw TD's to WR's, huhhhh?"

Fast forward to the end of the season, 10 TD passes to WR's

Lions going to take us down cause the FO will think its a great idea to bench everyone in preseason cause they had very insirping joint practices. No one will be in sync, the Oline will look horrible with no reps and Hurts goes out with a broken collarbone in the 3rd quarter. Season is saved when Eagles put in the Minshew or Carson.

Anything going on in Eagles land?  It's great you guys all smoke your own meat but was hoping for some more bird talk.

Also how many DT's do we have now and will any be traded?

1 - Fletcher Cox

2 - Javon Hargrave

3 - Jordan Davis

4 - Milton Williams

5 - Marlon Tuipulotu

6 - Renell Wren

7 - Marvin Wilson

8 - Noah Ellis

We’re definitely keeping five, maybe even six. Why? Because our base defense will have three DTs on the field at the same time - the NT and two 4i DTs.

I know.....think of all the actual QB's.  Should have been more specific.

His fans are often described as washers.  Seems appropriate now given his current team.

NFL is trolling Wentz

Why do people insist on engaging that *****?

Reagor & a 4th. Bring him home.

If that gets it done, we could likely get it done for just a 5th.
