Its not w binary thing but yes winning is the only thing

we can enjoy plays, individual performances etc but the only real prize is the title. That is the essence of sport.

I can play some good golf but if i lose the match it was for naught

We (the EMB) currently sit at just over 940,000 posts. We're on pace for about 40,000 posts for the month of May. So it's looking like we'll break 1,000,000 posts within the first couple of weeks of J

Miami’s offense should be a good test for the Eagles defense in these scrimmages.   Nice combination of speed and strong catch players at WR and TE, some decent RBs.    Thought the Browns practices were well scripted. Hopefully the same with the Dolphins.

Eagles definitely need work against play action, as they do not see it in practice, and struggled mightily against it against the Browns.

Ridiculous. Teams are already going full Belichick and doing whatever they can get to gain an advantage vs us and our perfect joint practice record.

I don't know the proper exchange rate, but message board manners to real-world manners should be somewhere around 0.5.  Don't eliminate, but you definitely need to double the micron filter gaps.

I don't think people are any less nice here than in real life.  Maybe it's my profession.

And you complain when we discuss the QB situation.

And you can not hear any negative viewpoint of Howie, and justify all his failures.

You can not admit any fault of your own or with Howie.

@austinfan is a staunch defender of the Eagles organization and I think his posts can give insight into what might be the perspective of the organization on some decisions.  Him expressing and defending them here doesn't hurt my feelings.

Perspective being the key word.  When giving a countering viewpoint, his response is basically his opinion is fact, and is unable to see any counterpoint or acknowledge that they have made bad decisions, whether it be FA's, trades, contracts, the absolutely horrendous drafts until the last two years.

I don't know what their offense has been like this season but last season there were a lot of short throws. It should be interesting to see how the LBs play.

The same way they play vs Hurts then

It's rhetoric.  He's an apologist in the more ancient greek meaning of the word. You are not going to convert him and why would you want to convert him.  I don't want an echo chamber.  If I am wrong about something, I want to know why I may be wrong.  If I am right about something, seeing the counter-argument only refines my opinion. If you have countered his point, move on to your next point.

whats the dead cap if we cut Sanders?

I don't think he needs the pre-season at all.  I don't care if he practices.

I hope it's a minor injury for Jobe.  I really liked the way he played on Sunday.  Bradley and Anderson also played well.
