I'm sorry I brough such a depressing topic into the blog.  A little back story without too much detail. I met my friend 12 years ago during an AF commissioning program. He was on top of the world

Sirianni instructed the O-line to allow more pressure so he could test Hurts' ability to read and react quickly - he passed with FLYING COLORS!

I think measuring units depend on what you're measuring. For science related things - chemistry, physics, medicine, that sort of thing SI wins hands down. For construction and things like furniture design and construction imperial is still in pretty common use, it seems to do with ratios that seem to fit better using feet and inches than mm and cm. Plywood is an interesting case. Length and width are typically imperial - 4 feet X 8 feet. Thickness is often metric - 18 or 19 mm for "3/4" plywood. I believe Canada still sells 2 X 4s, not the metric equivalent. So there's a mix.

At the risk of being snarky, it also matters which direction you are making the conversion.  The formula for Fahrenheit to Celsius is (°F − 32) × 5/9 = °C    But the formula for Fahrenheit to Celsius is (°C + 32) × 9/5 = °F

Hearkening back to the prior convo 9/5 is 1.8, which rounded off is the "multiplied by 2" that was discussed, but it is 2 only if you are going from Fahrenheit to Celsius.  If you go the other way the 2 flips from the numerator to the denominator and becomes "divided by 2."

Of course all those numbers give people headaches, and headaches lead them to yelling a bunch of other numbers ... "54 40 or fight!"

Don't be trying to steal bacarty's thunder.  Next thing you know you will be trying to fight rando's on a message board in the parking lot at the Linc in front of your kids.

This might be the most nonsensical post I have ever seen in the blog.

Obviously, you only read replies to your posts. 😁

It appears that our Ford Bronco is getting confused again.

lol reading this just randomly made me think....ya know if Sean Payton really wanted to come back and coach....wouldnt the Eagles be a more intriguing and better option than Dallas if he essentially had his choice of QB he could draft in 2023. A top QB prospect with this line and playmakers at WR...Vic Fangio to come in and replace Gannon....one can dream right?

Just no faith in Sirianni for me.

Are you replying to line 1 or 2.  You guys should really learn how to use the board effectively and only quote what you are replying to.

If I am trading Dillard, I want a 1st.... Hear me out.

It is likely we need him to play a few games this year, because injuries happen. The Value of him as a backup on a team you have high expectations for ( chance to contend) is higher than it was last year. Last year we knew we weren't winning anything in the post season.  So that value this year is higher even if we only have him this year and we get nothing in return except a compensation pick the following year.

He was a first rd pick,  if he is going somewhere to start as a LT then that should be a first- and I'll give what ever team that wants him the ability to discuss long term contract prior to trade.

The next time a superbowl winning head coach goes to a new team and WINS  a SB, they will be the first.

NO for me on SP.   Actually a HELL NO

Feels like half the team isn't practicing

Im not letting history get in the way of hiring a good coach. Youre going to tell yourself we cant hire the guy because he already won a superbowl so lets hire a guy like Sirianni instead?

May be an image of 1 person, playing football and text that says 'KENYAN DRAKE 23 "The Eagles have been actively shopping for veteran running back help to round out the backfield, and given Drake's skill-set, he just might be a prototype for Nick Sirianni's offense... With Miles Sanders entering the final year of his contract, and coming off a season in which he was plagued by nagging injuries, Drake could carve out an immediate and significant role in Philadelphia." h. EAGLES Matt Lomabardo/NFL Insider for Heavy'

He's gotta be working as a consultant or something to be at multiple practices and travel with the team to Miami

I wanted the Eagles to sign him. Hoping hes in the plans for the future as a DC if/when Gannon is promoted or fired. Would be a good staple to the defense to have that DC that wont get a HC gig. Like Jim Johnson.

So, Sirianni took a rebuilding team coming off a 4-12 season to 9-7 and you want to fire him after one year?

I wouldn't want to work for you.

Very possible. Howie likes to bring in "football guys" to have another set of eyes.

Likely that Gannon isn't here next season.  Either we play well on D and he's a HC somewhere else.  Or we suck and he get's fired.
