I'm sorry I brough such a depressing topic into the blog.  A little back story without too much detail. I met my friend 12 years ago during an AF commissioning program. He was on top of the world

General Managers are the Generals.  Head Coaches are Colonels.  Assistant Coaches are Lieutenants.  Colonels customarily defer to Generals.

So Jerry Jones is Putin....and we the fans are rolling the dice in the game of Risk. Got it.

Once the season starts, it is Nicks show, and he should not be deferring to the GM on anything in regards to game plan, who will play etc.

Howie needs to sit in his office, crunch numbers and look for possible additions to make the team better.

That is not how the hierarchy works.  Napoleon visited the trenches every now and then.

Best I can tell it's anyone who corrects and/or disagrees with Mike or 4for4.

I’m still waiting for mike to provide those facts he was so vocal about.  I don’t need them all.  One will suffice.

Well said. Very well said.

What was the more egregious mistake?

Barnett over Watt

I didn't include that one cause it's clearly in the HOF of worst picks ever.

I'll say JJAW over DK because Barnett actually looked good in college and had the numbers to back it up and earned his way as a top prospect. I had no idea who the hell JJAW was when we drafted him. Some people thought DK would go in the first round and at the time I thought he was the obvious pick if we were going to go WR.

JJAW over DK. My only reasoning is Barnett was at the very least in the right place at the right time to recover Brady’s fumble. Change the player, and we can’t be sure someone else is automatically in the same position to get that ball. Since the JJAW debacle happened after the Super Bowl, taking DK doesn’t possibly risk our only Lombardi.

FWIW there are still downs in their RZ drills

This is a fair take. And I likely agree with this. But damn, having Watt/Fletch/Graham woulda been awesome

Im excited to see how DK does with no QB. Im a believer DK success was scheme and the fact most of his cths were him having time to get open when Wilson was able to buy time. Not saying JJ is better then him but I see DK not being worth his contract.

I don’t consider passing DK a mistake. His neck was flagged by the Drs. Whatever happened after, happened, but it’s not like they passed on DK without reason.

lol well not having a QB would effect any WR. Seattle is notorious for not having good Oline play. Wilson had to run a lot and I dont think that made DK more successful. Dude is a physical freak no matter how you look at it.

Interesting to see the different philosophy's across the league. Personally, I think this is insane for them.

Listen buddy, try to use some hindsight in your analysis alright?
