That is not how the hierarchy works. Napoleon visited the trenches every now and then.

August 25, 20223 yr 4 minutes ago, TorontoEagle said: What was the more egregious mistake? JJAW over DK Barnett over Watt I'll say JJAW over DK because Barnett actually looked good in college and had the numbers to back it up and earned his way as a top prospect. I had no idea who the hell JJAW was when we drafted him. Some people thought DK would go in the first round and at the time I thought he was the obvious pick if we were going to go WR.

My only reasoning is Barnett was at the very least in the right place at the right time to recover Brady’s fumble. Change the player, and we can’t be sure someone else is automatically in the same position to get that ball. Since the JJAW debacle happened after the Super Bowl, taking DK doesn’t possibly risk our only Lombardi.

But damn, having Watt/Fletch/Graham woulda been awesome

Im excited to see how DK does with no QB. Im a believer DK success was scheme and the fact most of his cths were him having time to get open when Wilson was able to buy time. Not saying JJ is better then him but I see DK not being worth his contract.

Wilson had to run a lot and I dont think that made DK more successful. Dude is a physical freak no matter how you look at it.
August 25, 20223 yr Interesting to see the different philosophy's across the league. Personally, I think this is insane for them.
