The Eagles should absolutely draft an RB in 2023. It just shouldn't be in RD1.

I think the team should go BPA but using a 1st round pick on a RB never seems like a good use of resources.  It's also not like they don't have needs at CB and Safety.  If Bijan is the BPA, I think they should trade back unless there's also a CB or Safety with 1st round value.  It's also going to be a deep draft for DE's and they could consider going DE at that pick as a BPA.

Its looking like a pretty big drop off after Will Anderson. Do you know of any good prospects after him? Most of these other guys that are listed look pretty undersized for DE.

That's a reach.  There are a lot of awful teams.

The Saints could be merely bad and still pick #10.

Depends where in round 1 and the talent level. I’d take a Todd Gurley or McCaffrey level talent at pick 20 something. But yeah most likely a RB early is a bad idea.

Id probably have to consider it. But depends what CB, DE, and S is on the board. Would prioritize those positions. 

Fully agree that RB in the first is a bad use of resources, but man do I miss having a stud RB. A high end RB could do so much damage with this OL.

If you had to rank the importance of coaching in the Big 4, what would it be? And this is all encompassing, so not just the head coach but the whole staff.

Football

BBall

Hockey

Baseball

 

I think football and bball are 1a and 1b, while hockey and baseball are much further away and close to each other.

I'll take your word, I don't watch college football much, definitely dont watch Texas, just watched a couple highlights and like I said maybe it's the jersey but reminds me of Charles who was really fast.

Bijan is a bit bigger but I didn't see a ton of lateral agility from him( jump cuts jukes ect.)

He kind of winds around tacklers looks to have really good balance and good stop and start acceleration and top speed reminds me of Charles.

Either way I can't see Howie using a 1st on a RB.

Yup, I didn't say they are exact replicas, just said the way he runs reminds me of Charles 

Bijan is that great combination of speed and power. Hes closer to Jonathan Taylor than Jamal Charles.

Should be a good draft for DEs and a strong draft for CBs.

Unless the DEs, CBs, and safeties are gone, my problem with taking Bijan in this draft is that there is exceptional value in getting a guy like Sean Tucker, or Jahmyr Gibbs just a little after him. You also have the battering ram Chris Rodriguez. And Tank Bigsby.  

Its a good RB draft.

Last years was full of tons of powerful runners. But this years has better all around talent. Its a pretty nice class.

2nd round could be the sweet spot for RB.

Eagles got Sanders in the 2nd McCoy In the 2nd Westbrook in the 3rd.

On the flip side Tony Hunt and Ryan Moats were both 3rd rounders🤷‍♂️
