The QBs primary job is to lead the offense.

Passing is a means to an end, not the end.

False

there is a reason he is the only player throwing the ball

I'm sorry I brough such a depressing topic into the blog.  A little back story without too much detail. I met my friend 12 years ago during an AF commissioning program. He was on top of the world

I just put my boxer down 2 weeks ago.  I'm a single guy, house to myself.  He was my partner and companion more than I realized it, especially with remote work the last few years.  I never realized how much it would hurt to lose him and boy did I let the waterworks go plenty of nights the last few weeks.  Like you said, we are men and we are taught not to cry so I tried to put a happy face on.  When I was home alone though....

As I’ve said before: sooner or later they break your heart. I’ve shed many a tear for our animals.

I have one, need to get on PC to find it.

In the meantime, 1 thing, anything that Hurts is above average at as a QB.

Yards per hand off

I would replace the word "goal” with "aspiration.”  Setting goals that are almost 100% guaranteed to end in failure is unrealistic in my opinion.  I want to set goals that can/will produce opportunities for celebration more than 75% of the time. I don’t want to create a culture of failure

Thats celebrating mediocrity

Philly Philly would beg to differ with you.😇

Fully agree with this. The challenge is if a team offers a 4th for him. That's on the borderline of decision-making. You could get a 4th round comp pick anyway (Eagles aren't signing a bunch of UFA next year with their cap situation).

A 4th is not enough, not even close.

A baseball player hitting .750 is mediocre?

Context is everything.

Nah different game and skill set where the benchmark is three of ten.

a hitter batting 200-250 is what hurts is.

Northwestern is beating Nebraska

Nothing to do with Hurts, that is the top 3 offensive line.

Eagles RB’s 2021, 4.8 yards per carry.

Eagles RB’s vs Jets with Minshew at QB, 4.83 yards per carry.

Apparently Nebraska doesn’t have their starting center anymore, so I guess that’s understandable. I wonder whatever happened to him.

The goal discussion had nothing to do with Hurts.  It had digressed to a different direction.  But I accept your assessment of Hurts as your firmly held belief, and you may be right.  I'm still waiting for the jury on that one.  I'm not prepared to play Zimmerman.

I dont know but their front 7 got manhandled by Northwestern on that last drive to take the lead.

Who hands off the ball?

I suspect Dillard would only be traded at this time for a premium.  His value probably doesn’t depreciate between now and the trade deadline and may actually increase.  That allows the Eagles to hold him as a backup until a point where they have an idea how their own season is going.

lol. what a drive that was.

Thompson has been a disappointment.

Is Reagor still a lock because of his draft spot or is he finally fighting for a roster spot tonight?

Outside of getting traded he’s a lock

I hope USC and UCLA are ready for this when they join the Big 10.

Agreed, they didnt cut Whiteside in year 3 and he was a 2nd rounder. If Reagor does not get traded, he will be a lock for 2022.

USC certainly will be ready  , I think they end up NC contenders within a cpl years .
