Two spirit lesbo, duh

Thought you made that up.  Had to google it.

The acronym "2SLGBTQ” stands for Two-Spirit, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer (or questioning). The plus sign represents other sexual identities, such as pansexual or asexual.

Yeah, so did I

What is defined as "hate speech" is the key.  Is it hate speech to openly profess that you shouldn't run a drag show for kids?  Is it hate speech to call a transgender woman a biological man?

That's a tricky one.  We have hate speech laws over here and they are almost never ever in play.  They are saved for the most egregious acts.  That's the way it should be.

Must be said though that our courts aren't really politicized, yet.

Don't go to their shows and **** about them 🤷‍♂️

You realize this is about them being able to perform without people harassing them right? It's area specific

Define "harassment" then.  If it's physically harassing someone, then there are laws that prohibit that, regardless of the legal act taking place.  Is openly objecting to it considered harassment?

Does this community safety zone get applied to any public event?  Can it apply to speakers on a college campus as well as drag shows? Or is it just for LGBT events?  The devil is in the details, as DrPhilly said.

The bill would allow the attorney general to temporarily designate addresses — such as where a show is taking place — as community safety zones, and anti-LGBTQ harassment, intimidation and hate speech within 100 metres would be subject to a $25,000 fine

That's fine but it isn't ok to fine someone $25k for a "misgender".  That's ridiculous.

Speech isn't violence unless there is a call to actual physical violence.  A repeated pattern of targeted verbal abuse toward an individual is a different thing altogether.

I get that and I agree but I also think it'd be odd to go to their shows and not know how to act

It's not going to impact everyone. Just those that are there for the timeframe of the show

There are other rules/laws in place to manage situations where someone is disrupting a show.  Just take the offender by the collar and throw them out the door if necessary.

Why are drag queens obsessed with children is the better question?

I have zero problem with adults engaging in this lifestyle.

I have a major problem with this stuff happening in front of children..... Especially in taxpayer funded schools and libraries.
