Native American Mascot Names Banned in New York Public Schools

Will they be renaming rivers, towns, and counties?
Why not?
Following the liberal train of thought regarding the Confederate flag it makes sense (to them).
"They were the losers".
Has anyone lost more consistently than the American Indian? War, progress, alcohol, drugs.
0 and forever yet we have sports teams, counties, towns, rivers, and lakes named after them. Mockingly keeping their failures in the public eye.
It's not right. Win with dignity whitey! Rename it all!

Just be patient another housing collapse will happen

A Biden administration rule is set to take effect that will force good-credit home buyers to pay more for their mortgages to subsidize loans to higher-risk borrowers.

Experts believe that borrowers with a credit score of about 680 would pay around $40 more per month on a $400,000 mortgage under rules from the Federal Housing Finance Agency that go into effect May 1, costs that will help subsidize people with lower credit ratings also looking for a mortgage, according to a Washington Times report Tuesday

I'd really like to see a source for this other than the Washington Times and a vague reference to "experts" who believe something.

I don't doubt that Dems could further screw up housing financing, but I'd also like to see some reference to the actual rule change.

The only rule change I see on FHFA's website is this one: https://www.fhfa.gov/SupervisionRegulation/Rules/RuleDocuments/DTS Colonias Final Rule for Web.pdf

The effective date for that though is July 1, not May 1 as stated by the Washington Times.

I don't see any other final rule changes, or even proposed rules open for public comment that seem to imply the above: https://www.fhfa.gov/SupervisionRegulation/RegulationFederalRegister/Pages/Rules-Notices.aspx

I don't want to straight up call Washington Times and Fox News liars, but stranger things than lying have happened.

Subtle

should we add high and low tide to concepts some on the right struggle with?

besides the fact that sea level rise is uneven, and the change has been somewhere around 3mm / year for the last 140 years on average (and accelerating) based on measurements that span the oceans and more recent inclusion of altimeter readings from satellites. At that rate over 140 years you're looking at a change of a bit less than half a meter, or a bit over 1 foot.

you're not going to get that from the picture above.

You mean ice has been melting since the planet has emerged from an ice age?  Weird.  That's never happened before.
