I don't like it

I'm not in any party chats that anyone would tattletale to Sony. If you don't like what's being said in a party chat then leave. If it's someone on your friends list then delete them. Don't like the idea of chats being recorded and sent to a company

I don't game with my friends the way I did say 10 years ago and have maybe used the party chat function once this gen. The language we would use was definitely not PG rated and if that somehow resulted in suspensions I'd be pretty pissed. I think you'll find a lot more people are using Discord for in game chat now and moving away from the on board chat so the change will likely be irrelevant

sounds to me like it for all you pedophiles who love call of duty and halo and (insert whatever other ghey title where you are playing video games against 12 year old boys) that eventually get tired of them all calling you n-words and everything else, to get their loser selves banned. 

Got a notice from Target that my preordered PS5 controller release date was changed to October 30th.  Weird that they would be shipping accessories early, assuming that date holds.

Yes they announced that accessories will be available sooner. I saw somewhere that some are getting shipped sooner than that.

Here's hoping. Idk why but I do feel more confident in BestBuy to deliver rather than Gamestop or Target.

I do too, I still check my preorder every single day lol. I think I would put my head through a wall if like 2 days before shipment it's says item was cancelled. 

Just got an email that my order from game stop is "delayed by the manufacturer" whatever that means. 

Guess I'm all in on Amazon now.

Gamestop is the suck. All that means is gamestop has been struggling and decided to take on more preorders then they could fill in hopes that they could fulfill them. Now they can't and are blaming it on Sony.

I haven't in awhile because I've been playing campaign on games but still don't like that they are doing it

That seems strange to use something else to chat with friends while playing games

I watched a video on it and why they are doing it. People are bullying the sheet out of people and treating others like crap and they are trying to put a stop to it. It's understandable I've turned the mic on a few times for the hell of it and it is ridiculous how people talk to each other on there. It's just video games and people take it way to serious and get carried away and attack each other. 

From what I understand they are only looking for or listening in on certain cases and not going after everyone and bothering every chat just the ones where they are completely nuts with it

I don't get into party chats with random people. I think you're talking about game chats. Game chat is just being in a multiplayer game and turning on your mic. I'd agree that you can hear some messed up things like kids yelling out the n word and cursing up a storm.

Even back when I was gaming a lot with friends online we didn't use game chat when there was party chat. We stuck with party chat because we could just talk with our own group without anyone else talking.

Lol then my mistake. I thought it was the other way around. I'm fine with them regulating the open game chats. It's the party chats between friends that I was upset about lol
