I call this the "Dak Prescott contract was a mistake” question, because the odds of a non-first Round pick having playoff success after a monster contract extension despite no success before that extension are historically… zero. Well, almost zero: I’m looking for a QB: 1. He first appeared in the NFL after January 1st, 2000. 2. He was NOT drafted in the first round. 3. He did not make a single Conference championship game before earning a multi-year contract that at the time of signing was top 10 amongst QBs in AAV. 4. After signing said contract, he then proceeded to make his first career conference championship game, proving the doubters wrong. Who is he?
