Ever looked at crime rates there in the 1970s? lol there are literally too many stories to post of him letting people off for gun crimes only to have them murder or shoot someone shortly thereafter. Hey, we'll see how it plays out though. Philly will get what Philly voted for.

Amid light turnout around the state, Republican Kevin Brobson beat Democrat Maria McLaughlin to serve a 10-year term on Pennsylvania’s highest court. Election officials reported no significant problems, while turnout was expected to hit 25% to 30% of registered voters.

November 3, 20214 yr anyway....here's what dems didn't turn out to vote against: Among the more notable cases he handled during his tenure in Commonwealth Court was one centered around the question of whether Pennsylvania’s congressional districts, drawn in 2011, unfairly benefited Republicans. In that case, Brobson said partisan considerations played a role in drawing the map, but that a degree of partisanship is acceptable in the redistricting process. He said plaintiffs in the case had not proved the map crossed the line, and recommended that the high court let the existing map stand. The Supreme Court later rejected Brobson’s recommendation and ordered a new map.

Republicans were out in force yesterday. I've never had to wait in line for an off year municipal election before. Locally we had a bunch of school board elections. Republicans were eager to elect candidates who not only want to ban masks and vaccine mandates, but ALL vaccine mandates included measles, mumps, and rubella.
November 3, 20214 yr i had to wait in line as well...granted, it was a small line since i live in a very small town. i'm talking around 160 total votes cast for mayor. it's your typical small town pa sheetshow with council members & mayoral candidates constantly bashing each other on the town fb page...very entertaining.

Ill wait… Dems offer the same thing Republicans do: nothing. Republicans have never made government smaller. Nor are they better advocates for the individual. Both parties trash individual rights when it suits their narrative. There is no major party that supports individualism, smaller gov't, or that has actually sought to reduce the welfare state in any meaningful way since the Newt & Clinton era. This is not your father's republican party, and it's silly to pretend that it's in any way anything other than the party of Trump.

But hey, in your world, why should we supply health insurance to the uninsured? If they can't pay for their own medical treatment, let them die in the streets.
