Marsh vs. LHP .206 (71 plate appearances). Marsh vs. RHP .325 (303 PA). So marsh benefitted from not playing and not hitting nearly as often vs. pitchers he was bad against.Fair enough. What was the BA of his replacement(s) in the LHP games he didn't play?

Because it’s been Weston Wilson since he’s come back. Sometimes kemp. But also now Castellanos is platooning with Kepler. But really when it’s a LHP I’m guessing it’s going to be Wilson, kemp in one corner outfield spot and Castellanos in the other. So Castellanos hit .243. Kemp hit .231. And Weston Wilson hit .194. So really Wilson shouldn’t be. Problem is the Phillies signed Kepler who was never going to be a platoon with marsh as he’s a LH. They needed a RH to hit LHP with marsh platoon. It’s kind of worked out cause Castellanos had been bad from July to end of August which allowed for platoon with Kepler. But the Phillies really didn’t plan on casty being a platoon. He just wound up being bad enough to do it
Thursday at 10:13 PM3 days The thing about Castellanos is that you just never know. He could go 1-18 with a bloop single or he might be 8-14 with three homers

If they are just so-so or bad we aren’t winning against the dodgers hoping Castellanos, Stott, Bohm and marsh carry us. They can be contributors but not the ones who carry us. Hard time seeing us win 3 games vs. LA with schwarber, Harper and Turner are just not good. Also Phillies were 28th in chase rate and strikes seen (in the zone) per plate appearance 30th.

Hope that carries over into the playoffs.

If he is bad Cast bench his ass fast because he's not snapping out of it. If he's good let him cook.
Saturday at 09:56 PM1 day Winner of game 1 in a five game series usually wins series, not feeling good about this
Saturday at 10:13 PM1 day It all comes down to this Phillies offense. If they play cold like they have been the last few games this one is over. Can’t wait to see Phillies desperation hitting and just start swinging at every pitch thrown 80 feet off the plate or in the dirt.Surprise me Phillies go out there and dominate
