They are FINE!!!

As long as they don't have to score more then 3 runs

As long as they only have to score in 3 out of 44 innings

As long as they don't have to run the bases

As long as they don't have to get consecutive hits

As long as they don't have to get hits in scoring positions

As long as they don't have to go to the pen

As lol not as Thomson doesn't have to make any decisions

As long as the mets or braves don't get their heads out their asses

Completely FINE!!!

Need to can Kevin Long. His approach with guys isn’t working and everyone besides Harper and Crawford don’t hit consistently. Marsh still can’t hit lefties and everyone else is dreadful. It is likely a problem whether he’s here or not, but at least if you get a new voice, maybe it sparks them because somebody lost their job due to their lousy performance. Move should’ve been made last offseason (really after Mets playoff loss). Likely what fails this team anyway but there’s no point in having a hitting coach that can’t seem to get through to guys nor fix issues.

Seriously, 3 out of 46 innings or whatever it is is another finger pointing right at Long. The guy sucks and the cold snaps on offense have been going on for years. With such a high profile/high paid lineup how can they justify Long year in and out. It's just the guys like him and mgmt cater to these guys and don't want to rock the boat.

Thomson never holds his players accountable. That’s why the team is what they are. He’s too passive on all their mistakes. Harper’s single to try and stretch it to 2 for no reason and Rob doesn’t care about that. Marsh’s moronic base running blunder and Rob shrugs it off oh he just didn’t see the ball. Come on man scream at them or something get your head out of your arse. Just soft mentality no communication. This team is lead by robots

Thats the modern manager, isn't going to change, players run the team not the managers

Thomson is an issue. However the bigger issue has and will be Dombrowski has pissed away money and prospects over the years. Marsh has the same Fing issue he had with the angels. Realmuto has no business being paid $45 mil over 3 years at this stage. Walker and Castellanos were awful contracts. Alvarado is making $9 mil and might be as bad as Romano was last year. The amount of money that he has pissed away and prospects he’s given up to get marginal players is ridiculous. Dombrowski deserves to be fired and is basically living off 2022 magic as roster plateaued due to bad contracts and poor decisions outside of a move or two. This team has plateaued and stuck in no mans land with this roster due poor contracts and wasting prime years of Harper and schwarber

Should’ve been off this roster at the end of last year and gotten whatever they could for him

Couldn’t agree more. Why Dombrowski is still here is the biggest question mark. All of this comes down to one thing, ticket sales and revenue. It’s all about the money boys

Imo when they lost to the Mets is when they should have blown things up in terms of front office and manager. At that point you had two seasons where you knew what you needed and didn’t do it. You cost yourself a World Series in 2023 because you never replaced Hoskins when he got hurt and then you built a bullpen that wasn’t good enough. And then in 2024 you basically had the same issues that popped up in the playoffs and then played average baseball from when they went to London onward. That was the moment to do it. We’re now two seasons removed from that having the same issues with the guys in place that still haven’t got the job done

They should be sellers at the deadline. They won’t win even if the make the playoffs. Trade away guys who aren’t long-term here. Get prospects to build up your minor leagues so that in three years, you can have a bunch of young guys and use money to build around them. Dombrowski won’t do it cause he’s a coward and would reflect even more poorly about his last 3 years. But Middleton should be telling him that if this team is like this by end of June

Why they keep that dude around is beyond me. At least with some of these other guys struggling at the plate like JT and Stott you get above average to elite defense and speed. Bohm offers none of that - he can't hit, he's the slowest runner on the team, and his fielding is average at best.

They keep him around because DD is an abject failure at his job.

I was ok with Bohm for awhile and thought it was just typical Philly fans being too hard on a guy. That being said I've come around to being done with him. He has completely unraveled and his attitude is terrible the way it is when things don't go his way. Now it appears he lost what little trade value he had by continuing to play like sheet even further down the lineup.

Stott is frustrating because he gives at bats and has games where he looks like the best hitter on the team. Then he looks like he doesn't belong in the league. He just needs to be more consistent because his defense is excellent and he is fast.

He has 4 saves and hasn't allowed a hit in 5 appearances 🤣
