I don’t disagree with your statement that the Phillies themselves have cost themselves games in the series. I think the Dodgers have also attempted to give games away. Particularly Roberts the 9th last night. the teams that celebrate take advantage of it and the teams that lose dwell on it

With how baseball works at times, wouldn’t be shocked if they win tomorrow. When you don’t expect crap from them, they usually step up. Like mariners losing game 1 then somehow figuring out how to beat Skubal in game 2.

I was young then. Was in my early teens. Probably why Dave booted me then let me back after the Carolina loss.

Watching the Phillies show and Zolecki had a stat in which the Phillies are 11-0 in the postseason when Harper homers and 1-9 when he doesn't. Wow. Says it all right there. Feast or famine.

Interesting the Phillies were 28% chase against snell. Below their season avg. but really I’d love to know in high pressure situations like Harper in the 6th and Bohm after him. Cause they chased at least 4 balls in their at bats

Appropriate to wear them on the road. They were road uniforms back in the day. But now they are going to tarnish these uniforms when they implode. I assume at least 3 nukes launched against Nola which should be enough to vaporize the season

I am not superstitious but those uniforms don’t have a great history at dodger stadium in playoff games

Yeah but after almost 50 years most were not around although I have vague memories of the rain game in 77. I assume though most players are superstitious and because of the history the organization would not wear those there in a playoff game , and even in 83 they lost the last playoff game there. Don't see this a smart move but I think this team and front office is nothing but mental midgets
