Another great move by Dombrowski. Middleton thinks he’s great. He’s been given a ton of resources and sadly he’s wasted a lot of them that likely puts them over the top if used correctly

Jays got the leadoff guy on 4 out of 6 innings. Gotta capitalize on that.

How about now?

Reverse Jinx worked towel

Jays gotta get at least 2 runs here with bases loaded and no outs. If they manage just one run then it feels like a victory for the dodgers to just be down 1.

They got this so easy. Phillies probably wouldn't have even gotten one run

Phillies won’t take a walk and when they get a pitch to hit they missed it.

Their bottom of the lineup came up big to get it back to the top

Springer bad at bat nonono

They have a deep line up like the dodgers. I told my friend that the jays match up well with them hitting wise. He laughed at me and said they don't at all lol. He won't answer my texts anymore 😂😂

Yeah with how Sheehan has been should’ve taken a pitch or two. He’s walked a guy and given 2 singles (one single that probably could’ve been hit for a bases clearing double) if made better contact.

That’ll do it.

Does the whole a lot of runs tonight mean no runs tomorrow in Canada. Or is that just a Phillies thing

Me thinks it's just the Phillies lol

Damn i should always bet the dodgers to lose game 1 of the World Series as they are about to be 1-12 lol

Jays in 4

"TORONTO -- For the Blue Jays, what happened in the sixth inning -- a nine-run bludgeoning in an 11-4 win over the heavily favored Dodgers in Game 1 of the World Series on Friday night -- was not surprising. The stakes were elevated. The opponent was mighty. The confidence, stemming from their exceptional ability to annoy and frustrate opposing pitchers, did not waver.

The Blue Jays spent five innings making Blake Snell, the best pitcher through the first three rounds of the postseason, labor as they have made other elite pitchers labor in 2025, and it was only a matter of time before the dam broke.

When it did, when Addison Barger launched the first pinch-hit grand slam in World Series history five batters and two relievers after Snell's exit, the Blue Jays demonstrated what they have been for the past six months in the franchise's first World Series game in 32 years.

"We're a pain in the ass," Blue Jays outfielder Nathan Lukes said."

Jays use 9-run 6th to bury L.A. in statement win

The Blue Jays showed they are a powerhouse in their own right Friday night, putting Game 1 of the World Series away with a nine-run sixth inning and beating the Dodgers 11-4.

It sure must be nice to have players who are "pains in the ass" to pitchers. Phillies go golfing on the first pitch.

It's a thing of beauty watching the jays work the count. It's not just a few of their top guys in the lineup either it's the entire lineup.

They did a good job with that. Also put pressure on him early by getting leadoff guys on consistently and not missing pitches. I also think Snell didn’t have his best stuff last night. You could see it early. He escaped trouble in th 1st but his location and stuff wasnt as crisp as against Milwaukee. Some of that is guys weren’t chasing some pitches. If you look at his first three playoff starts, he had 9 strikeouts, 9 strikeouts, and 10. Even Phillies took walks (4) but when he came into the zone against reds, Milwaukee and us, he blew it past guys. Last night he wasn’t. only had 4 Ks.

I think I posted on here around the fourth inning, saying they really need to take advantage of the fact that his stuff and location wasn’t great. Tbh his 29 pitch first set him up to wear down by the 6th and allowed blue jays to get to the dodgers bullpen which is not good.

I view snell’s start this way, when Zach Wheeler had that stretch this year where he was unhittable for a month, you knew he was due to for a dud/clunker game. Even for as great as he is, it’s really hard to just be great for over a month straight. Really only one this year who rarely had that clunker was skenes and even he usually hit one after 6-7 starts. Snell had given up 3 ERs in his last 6 starts. that’s ridiculous at some point he had a dud coming. Kind of like Yamamoto in our series. He had like 3ERs for the last month before game 3. Then gave up 3. Curious if snell looks better game 5(assuming it gets to that)

Lmao

Dude takes everything to heart, still hasn't figured out it's a business. I still love Harper but, he has to hold it together and hopefully they get a better bat behind him. I think he still has another great year in him. After that who knows but, I think he has at least one more
