Not sure who I hate more- Alvarado or DD.I was fine bringing them back if you got him on a 1 year deal for like 2-3 million. But the fact that they picked up his option for $9 million was ridiculous. He was awful when he returned from his suspension and he got hurt. And the year before he was awful for about 4 out of the 6 months. There was no way you could convince me some other team was gonna pay him $9 million. I think he’d have been fortunate to get more than 3 mil based off his suspension, how he pitched after coming back from it, getting injured and was bad in 2024 as well
