Yeah his stuff looks legit. I think he needs some more polish and control but he has a high ceiling with that stuff. He looked way better than rosso did yesterday.

He’s a historically slow starter.  This shorten season is not a good thing for him.   

Yup it’s why i was wondering why people thought harper would get 20 homers in 60 games. Like everyone on WIP. I think he gets like 13-15 because he gets hot at the end of the year. 

couple concerns i have so far besides the obvious. 1. I think mccutchen just doesn’t look good right now. He’s had one really hard hit ball and otherwise just doesn’t look good in the box. 2. Kingery’s defense at second. There’s a lot of plays where i think a better defensive second basemen would make some of the plays and he’s a good step or two away from being there. Not sure if it’s limited range or if he hasn’t played second consistently enough at the Mlb level where he’ll get better at it. 3. I’d like to see Haseley more than mccutchen and Quinn. Frankly i think Quinn is a 4th outfielder on a good team. And mccutchen isn’t in the long term plans. Has a year left after this year. I’d like to see if haseley blossoms into what they thought when they drafted him in the top 10 in 2017
