The Phillies in general against the Mets have not been very good. I think 5-12. It’s the one team they can’t do anything consistently against. 20 over vs. everyone else.

I mean they’re the second best team in the NL and we are a last wildcard spot team. Why would we have a ton of success against them

Tbh against the other playoff teams (besides the Phillies-Mets head to head) and brewers who are in the hunt the Phillies are 5 games over .500 and the Mets are 4. Furthermore the Braves I don’t think are better than the Mets this year. and yet there only one game under against the Mets. I would add the Phillies when nola and wheeler pitch are 0-9 against the Mets this year. There is absolutely no reason to be winless with those guys pitching in 9 games. It wasn’t all degrom and scherzer when they faced the Mets in those starts. They faced the Mets 17 times and more than half they had their ace and second best pitcher going. Meanwhile in those 9 of those starts, degrom or scherzer matched up in 2 of those matchups. So in the other 7 other matchups the Phillies clearly had the better starter and managed to find ways to lose those games. The Phillies should be better than five wins out of 17 games.

Yeah I guess I’m saying they’re just not better than 5 wins out of 17 against the Mets. I hate the Mets, but we’re just not on their level right now.

Not sure how you can’t find a way to play Hall against a rookie right hander.  Play Castellanos in left field and start Hall in right maybe?

Either would likely be better than starting Zimmer who’s hitting .100.

Zimmer should not be on a roster especially one that is contending for the playoffs, I know this comes off as mean but he should not be in the league at all  he is one of the worst players in the league, he does not help a baseball team win games, he is terrible, is that mean? maybe, is that accurate? absolutely 

Not that he’s had a bunch of at bats but zimmer is 2-8 so far which was the same average in what marsh gave you at the plate.

Naw the Phillies bullpen is a shot right now. Dominguez and knebel out really hurts. We were dumb to try and use Robertson for 2 innings last night then ask him to go again today. That is just bad managing knowing he’s older and back to back days with no off day on Monday. 

I absolutely loathe this team.  I pray to god they don’t make the playoffs.  There really isn’t even one guy i can really get behind and say that they deserve to make the playoffs because of.  Not one.  Just a team full of losers who don’t have the mental makeup to win.  It’s been a losing culture for a decade and no sign of it changing anytime soon.

probably schwarber since he's the only one that's actually won something, but that's the biggest problem none of these players have won anything until we get players that have been to the world series and know how to win it, it's going to be the same issues, it wont matter how talented your roster is.
