October 9, 20223 yr The battle over the strike zone is a game of appearances. Avalrado was further out of the zone than every spot the catch gave him, for nearly every pitch. A pitch right on the edge of the zone is going to go against you.

If it's in the strike zone, it's a strike regardless of where the catcher sets up.

My man just enjoy the playoffs. No one’s picking the 6 seed last wildcard team to win it all. Is it possible? Sure. Is it probable? No. This team is flawed and has holes. But they’re fighters and they play together. It’s been fun to watch after so many years of complete trash.
