Gonna need Avalrado tomorrow, so don’t let that pitch count get high tonight.

At 5-0 I’m likely going gibson and nick nelson at this point. I don’t see two 5-0 comebacks in this series.

Pull Avalrado after 20 pitches and go to the mop up squad.

Well it was a great season fellas

Yep. What could have been if Nola wasn't a POS. They are losing tomorrow as well, so they needed this one. What a POS.

Every single batter is just crushing the ball.

Syndegard is going to get destroyed tomorrow

Thanks Nola for proving all the doubters right and cementing your legacy as a loser when it matters most, three times in a row. Almost had us convinced there for a bit

Honestly he’s probably not going to leave us in any worse of a spot than a Nola start.

Avalrado needs to rest if he doesn’t get this batter.

They should've tried to let Nola work out of the bases loaded. I hate how quick teams are to pull the plug these days. So goddamn deflating.

Write this down in pen:

Theyll lose tomorrow’s bullpen game amidst much fanfare for Verlander’s first WS win.

Theyll go back to Houston down 3-2 and will gut out a nail biting gutsy win in Wheeler’s start.

Then they’ll go down 5-0 early in game 7 and that’ll be it.

Nola should have been pulled after the 1st runner got on base.

We need at least 3 runs here.

I disagree. I thought Nola should have been pulled after the Altuve hit.

Eh I’m not sure they get past game 6 at that point. They can’t hit Valdez or Javier.

Suarez is not giving up 5 runs

It’s almost calming to know now that it’s over - removes some stress

At least they can’t win it in our stadium

I’m sure Segura will get it going.

What year?

I’m taking the under in the over/under 0.5 hits

I’ve got either Castellanos or Segura breaking up the no-no in the 9th with a rope off the wall in a 7-0 game for their last hit of the season.

Game and the series is over. They needed tonight and Nola f'ed them over hard. He's a POS that always falls apart. He can't give up one run he has to blow the whole f'ing thing.

They had an inspirational run.

The ‘93 team is a great comparison for this one. Bunch of likable guys who went on an incredible run but just fell short.

Next year…it will be very challenging to recreate the streak they had with the HR barrage and the luck with their bullpen in the post season.  They will have to compensate with better starting pitching.

Nola needs to be the #3…and even as the #3, he needs to not crap the bed at the end.

Actually think Carlos rodon is the guy they should go after. He’s a lefty and pretty damn good. He allows you to split up nola and wheeler. Gives you a R, L, R, L and R (assuming painter) rotation

Houston will lose tomorrow anyway :flex:

This team had a lot of guys with no experience or negative experience in the post season.  This has been amazing for fixing that problem.  I just worry how hard it will be to recreate Schwarber working counts, Harper being Babe Ruth, and Rhys channeling his rookie season all in the same stretch run again.

Such a Philly way to lose. POS had to load the bases. F'ing a-hole
