Isn't that the job of the hitting coach? How about Thomson having the bottom of the order with Segura, Stott, and Marsh drop some bunts down just to see if that throws Javier off his game a little? Heck, have Harper try to drop down a bunt. He's done it before. Maybe you get lucky and the Astros throw a ball away while fielding for a 1 or 2 base error. When the Astros went to shifts early in the game they should’ve had someone just bunt to that opposite side of the shift. Get a runner in and try to steal bases to make him uncomfortable. I think Javier like Suarez just looked like he was pitching a regular season game

The Astros Manager takes out that pitcher who is just mowing Phillies batter down, but, he doesn't take out the Game 1 pitcher or the Game 3 pitcher who basically imploded!??!?! I don't get the pitching strategy either. If this guy is so good why didn't the Astros pitch him in game 1 so they could get multiple starts out of him? Why are we waiting until game 6 to use our ace?

The entire game may have been different if that ball was inside first base. Marsh might have scored and who knows what from there. We agree though...and saw that from Houston in game 3. I forget who it was, but someone went up there trying to bunt to get runners on. 31 minutes ago, Gannan said: I don't get the pitching strategy either. They had to wait for his PEDs to kick in. Honestly, I don't think they expected him to be that good. Something doesn't add up though. Not even Harper could make contact to keep one in play?
November 3, 20222 yr I keep saying it, but Altuve should be banned from baseball along with every other player on that team. It's a freaking disgrace. Rose didn't do anything close to this. How are they cheating this time?
November 3, 20222 yr Lidge gonna throw out the first pitch tonight. Any chance he could, you know, stick around for an inning?

The sooner they disappear from any sports radio talk and it goes to full on Eagles and Sixers the better. Unofficial Phillies mascot back again, have to do this 1 extra time, but only two more to go.

November 3, 20222 yr Brought back the candles and a new shrine for the Phillies and eagles games tonight!
November 4, 20222 yr They are going to lose but I'm fired up. And damn the announcers fap over the Astros
November 4, 20222 yr We are super fortunate it’s only 1-0. That said i still hate that wheeler isn’t starting game 5. Game 5 is important right now then game 6. The extra 2 days if wheeler’s just tired from the innings he’s pitched isn’t going to make a huge deal. If it’s from the ball to the leg I’d understand it more but from what reporters are saying just due to being tired. His era at home is 1.84 and 3.85 on the road. Add on with the off day Friday you could get him for an inning as it’s his side day on Sunday if you got to a game 7
