Some of these Japanese pitchers look pretty good.  I think it was Hiromi Itoh that had some pretty good stuff, if I am remembering my innings correctly.

Lame that our best pitchers did not play, Wheeller and  and Nola alone would make them win it all, Merrill Kelly is an ok pitcher but not good enough on a stage like this

I don't get why good MLB pitchers couldn't have thrown a few innings, but I also get arms get tired over a long season and those two threw a lot last year. That isn't something Ohtani has to worry about on the Angels.

Anyone thinking this Trea Turner dude might be an ok signing for the Phillies?

No it was May, then the Phillies propaganda machine put out All Star break so this way when he comes back early he looks like a hero and so does the medical staff
