But before the injury he actually was looking good at the plate. Similarly with moniak right now. Sucks to say cause syndergaard helped last year down the stretc and marsh has been solid but there’s a chance we look back in a couple years and the Angels got the better of both those trades the thing with good offensive catching prospects is that it’s a position you don’t want to really give up. It’s a really value type of prospect especially when he was a top 100 prospect

Screw it, I would also see if anyone would bite on Wheeler and Nola as well. Nola would be easier to trade simply because he's a free agent at the end of the season. I said last year I liked the Castellanos signing more than the Schwarber signing. Looked awful last year when I said that as castellanos was bad and schwarber was solid after May. Frankly, analytics like schwarber but I don’t really like Schwarber. the only thing he does for you is hit homeruns. It’s great when he is hitting them but there’s way too many stretches where he can’t hit or field. A problem is you have to play him in the outfield right now because you can’t play Harper in the outfield. So he is a negative in just about everything else. Last year I wound up being wrong, but it’s flipped this year. My reasoning behind why I like the Castellanos signing is because I thought he could be a consistent 275 to 290 hitter and he get more pitched to see with the lineup around him to drive in runs consistently. He’s finally doing that. Add on he’s not a great fielder, but he’s significantly better than Schwarber. they won’t trade away everybody even if they decide to do it.

Honestly sosa has not been great the last month. They really miss hoskins as it gives more depth to the lineup and power. Clemens, sosa are backup players and we are asking them to do to much. They need a bat to play either outfield and move harper to first or a 1b cause Clemens not hall are your answers
